Breaking: Fast And Furious Star Paul Walker Dead In Fiery Car Crash

Paul Walker – best known for his role in “The Fast and the Furious” movies — died Saturday afternoon after a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California.

 

 

According to TMZ:

 The accident happened in Santa Clarita — north of Los Angeles — and according to multiple sources connected to Paul … the actor was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control and slammed into a post or a tree … and then the car burst into flames.

Several of our sources — some who are still at the scene of the accident — tell us Paul and another person in the car were killed. Law enforcement is still on the scene, and we’re told the L.A. County Coroner’s Office is on the way.

At this point, it’s unclear what caused the accident, or who was behind the wheel when it happened. 

Paul was 40 years old. 

Sources close to Paul tell us he was in Santa Clarita for a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort, and had been taking friends out for rides in his new Porsche GT. The accident happened during one of those test spins.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, police had received a report of an assault, and the suspect matched Suge’s description — so when officers spotted Suge in his vehicle … they pulled him over, and jumped out of their patrol car with their guns drawn.

We’re told Suge agreed to go to the police station, where he explained he wasn’t the man they were looking for … in fact, police now believe the initial report of an assault was bogus.

Suge was eventually released … but sources close to the hip hop mogul tell TMZ, he is extremely pissed about the misunderstanding — and is considering filing a lawsuit.

Kanye West continues to astound and confound. Despite railing against corporate America and the fashion gatekeepers for allegedly giving him the cold shoulder, Yeezy’s shiny new deal with adidas is reportedly worth $10 million.

Kanye West had a monumental falling-out with Nike over their marketing of his sneakers, and is about to get his revenge by signing a $10 million deal with rival Adidas. Kanye designed a range of sneakers for Nike, but sources tell us relations soured because he “only got 10 to 20 cents on the dollar for sales of his sneakers from Nike, and he only had a small personal stash to give out to his friends.” Nike was the subject of one of Kanye’s rants during his recent shows at the Barclays Center. He said, “And with Nike, last conversation I had with them I said, ‘When are the Red Octobers coming out,’ and they said, ‘We’re not sure.’ Then I talked to my man down in Miami that runs the store and they said Nike was pressuring them saying if you want the Red Octobers you have to take all these trash-ass shoes. Nike was pressuring them trying to leverage off some s - - t that I made.” So many questions—did Kanye West get royalties from Nike or not?
During a Yeezus tour show in Nashville this past Wednesday (November 27), West went an another rant, saying that Nike’s CEO has “lost culture.” Says USA Today: “Do you know who the head of Nike is?” West asked the audience at Bridgestone Arena, deciding to name names after speaking in allusive terms just before. “No, well let me tell you who he is: His name is Mark Parker, and he just lost culture. Everyone at Nike, everyone at Nike, Mark Parker just let go of culture.” Shouldn’t West be urging his fans to get down with adidas instead of railing against Nike?

Also, if the “Blood On The Leaves” rapper’s deal with the three stripes brand is indeed worth $10 million, aren’t all his complaints about being marginalized ringing very, very hollow? It may be time for Yeezy to fall way back on the interviews and rants.

NBA Fines Jason Kidd $50,000 Drink Spill Stunt (Video)

Nets coach Jason Kidd has been fined $50,000 for appearing to intentionally drop a cup of soda on the court late in Wednesday night's loss to the Lakers, the league announced Thursday.

With 8.3 seconds left and his team out of timeouts, Kidd, who was holding a cup of soda, appeared to say "hit me" to point guard Tyshawn Taylor in order to stop the game so the team could draw up a last-second offensive play.

After Lakers guard Jodie Meeks made the first of a pair of free throws, giving his team a 96-94 lead, Taylor walked toward Kidd near the sideline and collided with his coach, who was holding a cup of soda at the time. The cup of soda spilled on to the court. While it was being cleaned up, the coaching staff drew up a last-second play. Taylor was subbed out of the game for forward Mirza Teletovic.

Adding to the chaos of the moment, while Nets assistant John Welch drew up the team's final play, two Lakers appeared to be in the middle of the huddle.

Meeks then made the second free throw, and on the ensuing Brooklyn possession, small forward Paul Pierce missed a 3-pointer that would've tied the game with 2.2 seconds remaining. The Nets ended up losing to the Lakers 99-94 at Barclays Center.
"Cup slipped out of my hand while I was getting Ty," Kidd said of "Cupgate." "Sweaty palms. I was never good with the ball.

"In the heat of the battle, you're trying to get guys in and out of the game, and the cup fell out of my hand."

Video replays appeared to show Kidd saying "Hit me," something Taylor flatly denied.
Said Taylor: "No [Kidd didn't say that]. I wasn't paying attention. I just kind of bumped him. I didn't even know he was holding [anything]. [But] coach was drinking a soda on the sideline. I was like, 'What's he doing?'

"It could ice a free throw shooter and be a timeout when you don't have one, but that wasn't the thought process. I was just coming out, and he was in my way. 'Coach, get out of my way, bro.' "

It isn't the first time Kidd has done something odd to create a stoppage in play.
Back when he was playing with the Dallas Mavericks, Kidd made contact with Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Woodson as the point guard dribbled up the sideline. Kidd appeared to initiate the contact with Woodson, though he pointed at Woodson as if to show the coach impeded his progress down court.

Manny Pacquaio Is BROKE . . .Owes $50M In Back Taxes!!!

Philippines authorities demanded Wednesday that boxing great Manny Pacquiao pay a $50 million tax bill or risk having assets seized, but the national hero vowed to take the fight to court.

The battle between one of the best boxers in history and the taxman has shocked his army of fans in the Philippines, emerging just days after a comeback win in the ring was hailed as a moment of hope amid the aftermath of a deadly typhoon.

Pacquiao disclosed Tuesday the Bureau of Internal Revenue wanted 2.2 billion pesos ($50.2 million) for alleged unpaid taxes in 2008 and 2009, when he was at the peak of his career and one of the world’s highest-earning athletes.

Pacquiao, 34, insisted he had paid his taxes in the United States, and so did not need to do so in the Philippines because the two countries have an agreement allowing their citizens to avoid double taxation.

But tax commissioner Kim Henares, who has spearheaded a high-profile campaign against tax evasion in the Philippines, stood firm on Wednesday, saying Pacquiao had failed for two years to provide documents proving his US payments.
“2.2 billion (pesos) is what Pacquiao owes now because of surcharges and interest,” Henares said on ABS-CBN television.

Henares said the tax bill may be cut if Pacquiao did provide certified documents proving he paid the US Internal Revenue Service.

“What we want is evidence that he (Pacquiao) actually paid the tax.”
But she said that even if he had paid the 30 percent tax rate in the United States, there would still be extra charges due in the Philippines because it had a higher rate of 32 percent.

The tax office has frozen his bank accounts in the Philippines, which Pacquiao said had left him financially paralysed.
Henares said the tax office could eventually take the money owed by stripping him of his assets.

She said the tax office had already placed a “lien” on a Pacquiao property, worth millions of dollars, in one of Manila’s most exclusive gated communities.
A lien is a form of security which allows the tax office to take back money it is owed, via lease payments or sale of the property.

Pacquiao went on a publicity blitz on Tuesday night, appearing on all the major domestic television networks, to insist on his innocence and brand the tax office’s actions “harassment”.

“I am not a criminal or a thief. I am not hiding anything. I will face my problems as they come,” Pacquiao said.

Pacquiao’s American promoter Bob Arum also released a statement saying his Top Rank firm had paid the 30 percent taxes directly to the US Internal Revenue Service, and certified paperwork to show proof would be available “very soon”.

But Pacquiao’s Manila lawyer told AFP on Wednesday that he would not give the tax office those documents, preferring instead to fight the issue in court.
“This is no longer within the jurisdiction of the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue),” lawyer Tranquil Salvador said.

“The tax case is now with the court of tax appeals. We do not have to submit anything to the BIR.” A court hearing has been set for December 5.

Twerk-Fest Turns Into Bloody Girl Fight Brawl At Rapper Game’s Birthday Party (Video)

A night of innocent booty shaking turned VIOLENT at The Game’s birthday party in L.A. last night — when several women straight up BRAWLED in the street. It all went down outside Supperclub — where one of the women put on a twerk show for the rapper earlier in the night while he was inside of his car.

A short time later, the woman gets into a fight with another clubber and it sounds like they were arguing over a man. One thing led to another … and they were full on fighting in the street.

There was hairpulling … shoes were used as weapons … a couple of boobs fell out … and one of the fighters was left covered in blood.

Cops eventually arrived and at least one of the women was handcuffed.

When Chris enrolled in his court-ordered rehab joint after last week’s progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case … he asked the rehab staff if he could bring his weed along.

Chris told staff the Mary Jane was prescribed by a doctor for a medical condition — depression — but the staff rejected his request. We’re told Chris kicked up a stink, claiming pot makes him calm, but the staff was unbending.

As we reported, the judge in the case ordered Brown to enroll in a live-in anger management facility for 90 days following his previous stint in anger rehab, when he was booted after just two weeks … ironically because he flew into a violent rage.
Hopefully the no-weed rule won’t exacerbate Chris’s anger problems. They won’t like him when he’s angry.

When the split between former Roc-A-Fella Records business associates Dame Dash and Jay Z took place in the early 2000s, rapper Kanye West was one of a handful of artists who sided with Jay following the split. Evelyn Lozada confirmed that she skipped out on the ‘Basketball Wives’ season 5 reunion because she has no interest in rehashing the past. When you spend an entire season coping with the same issue, what’s really left to say? For Evelyn, nothing!

When season 5 of “Basketball Wives” made its big debut, viewers were thirsty for the Evelyn’s thoughts on her failed marriage to Chad Johnson. How was she handling the split? What happened in the car? Did she still love him? Fans wanted to know it all!
Since her storyline was dominated by the personal fallout from her short-lived marriage, Evelyn knew that it would likely be a major topic of discussion had she agreed to do a reunion.

“Choosing not to beat a dead horse! We all want 2 move on with life,” Evelyn explained to one fan on Twitter earlier this week. “Didn’t want 2 keep dwelling on the past.”
When she opted to decline an invite for the post-season pow wow, that shut down the entire production. It was an abrupt discovery considering season 5 was much shorter than previous seasons at just 10 episodes.

There’s no word on whether VH1 will ever go back and gather up the rest of the cast to discuss season 5 or if “Basketball Wives” will be renewed for another cycle at this time.



Reports: Lamar Odom Demanding $10M To Divorce Khloe Kardashian

If Khloe Kardashian wants out of her marriage with Lamar Odom, it’s going to cost the reality TV star a whopping $10 million payout, a new report states.

 

 

According to the National Enquirer, Odom is taking a page straight out of Kris Humphries‘ book, also demanding Kardashian give him back the $875,000 engagement ring as part of their divorce settlement.

After Kris Jenner had Khloe hammer out a divorce deal with their attorneys, Odom reportedly laid out his conditions.

“Kris and Khloe are very worried about Lamar. He’s a loose cannon, and he has a lot of dirt on the family and nothing to lose,” an insider told the Enquirer.

“He knows all about their extreme surgery procedures — when, how often and how much — and the pressure put on the younger girls to follow suit.”

The source also claims Odom could tarnish Khloe’s career by exposing a sex tape they made, but Jenner is trying to tie up loose ends with a confidentiality agreement.

“Lamar is also prepared to destroy Khloe’s reputation by discussing their sex tape, and how she targeted him and tore his family apart,” the source told the magazine.

“Kris is insisting on a confidentiality agreement to ensure Lamar can never discuss his life with the Kardashians either in print or verbally.

Audio: Kanye West Screams On Sway During Shade 45 Interview (Full Interview)

Kanye West has been doing a number of radio interviews recently in promotion of the Yeezus Tour, but none have been as heated and wild as this one.

Kanye took to Shade 45 earlier this afternoon to talk with Sway about the tour and the fashion industry, among other things. When Kanye began talking about how he’s been shunned from the industry—a common theme of his recent rants—Sway then posed the question, “Why don’t you empower yourself…and do it yourself? ” The question set Kanye off. He began yelling at Sway and telling him that he hasn’t been doing his research and doesn’t know anything about the topic. Eventually, Sway told Kanye to calm down and that he“ain’t gotta turn up” and that their conversation wasn’t a “fucking show.”

After a couple minutes of yelling on both sides, both guys calmed down. Kanye eventually apologized and said he didn’t mean disrespect. It’s hard to tell what exactly about Sway’s question irked Kanye so bad, but ‘Ye did seem to hint that he’s lost a lot of money—a $13 million figure was thrown out—on trying to start his own fashion line. If that’s the case, his anger may be justifiable.

Rap Video Vixen Sues Flo Rida For Child Support...BEFORE The Child Is Born

Music video vixen Natasha Georgette Williams is hoping for a big pay day by trying to snatch some bags of child support money from hip-hop artist Flo Rida.

A woman claiming to have been impregnated by Flo Rida is suing for child support -- but not just any child support ... she knows she hit the jackpot, and now she wants "good fortune" support -- which means she banged a rich person. Glamor model and video vixen Natasha Georgette Williams -- who says she hasn't given birth yet -- filed the legal docs in Miami, asking for a bunch of Flo's money for things like pre-natal assistance and other birth-related expenses. She also wants a child support order to cover medical insurance, daycare, private school expenses, summer camp, etc.
 

 But the hilarious part -- she also asks for "good fortune" child support ... which is a special kind of child support in Florida for rich people's kids. Basically, she's asking for more child support than she actually needs ... just because Flo's rich. You can't make this up. We called Flo's people for comment. So far, no word back ... but it's worth noting paternity of the child still hasn't officially been established. In other news, Natasha's really hot. (TMZ)

Beyonce’s super successful Mrs. Carter Show world tour passes the $100 million in sales mark.

 

 

Beyoncé earns the No. 1 Hot Tours ranking with $44.9 million in box office grosses from her fall tour through cities in Latin America and Australia, taking the Mrs. Carter Show world tour past the $100 million mark in box office sales since launching in April. The overall gross from the ongoing tour is $104.3 million from more than 883,000 sold tickets at 59 performances, based on box office stats reported to Billboard.

Rihanna takes the second slot on this week’s Hot Tours tally with sales reported from the final nine weeks of her Diamonds world tour that ended on Nov. 15.
