Jay Z Being Investigated For Gifting Robinson Cano With Pricey Watch

Jay Z is being investigated by the MLB Player’s Union after he gifted Yankees superstar Robinson Cano a limited edition limited-edition Classic Fusion Shawn Carter watch by Hublot for his birthday. The problem didn’t lie with the $34,000 gift, but the fact that Jay is required to disclose to the union in writing any gifts valued at more than $500.

It’s expected that Jay will face disciplinary action from the union, but it’s not expected to be severe. He has been Cano’s manager since June after the rapper decided to expand his resume to include sports agent.
