Oh For Real?: Bow Wow Says Engagement To Erica Mena Is No Publicity Stunt

Shad Moss wants everyone to know his engagement to Love & Hip Hop reality star Erica Mena is 100% real. While filming episodes for his role on the new CSI: Cyber series, the rapper called into 106 & Park to talk to co-host Keisha Chante about the rumors circulating around him and his fiance.

Shad states he would never get hitched for the sake of publicity.

“I think what a lot of people don’t realize is me and Erica, we been knowing each other for years,” he said. “If you pay attention, she’s in my “Fresh Azimiz” video. She’s the girl right in front of me. I been knowing her since then. And like I said, she was suppose to do [the movie] Lottery Ticket. But it’s far from a publicity stunt. I’ve never been the type of person to do anything for publicity. I don’t need it. I’m on TV everyday. How much more publicity do I need? I did this out of my heart, I did this out of love. It’s time for me to sit my a** down! I’m out the game!”

The rapper didn’t explain how the engagement happened, but with Love & Hip Hop: New York premiering in November, Bow Wow’s proposal might be on the show.
“Um, y’all gotta wait for that,” he said. “I’m not gonna let that one out of the bag, y’all gotta wait for that. I know it’s what our fans want to know but they’ll get that in due time.

I know a lot of people doubting and hating. Got their timers up. This ain’t your regular, typical thing that’s going on. This real. This is [going to] be around for a long time.”

Bow Wow & Erica Mena Are Engaged?

 

Bow Wow and Erica Mena have been romantically linked for a few months but it looks like things are official now. The rapper shared the photo below on his Instagram with no caption but it was pretty clear what it meant. Apparently, Bow proposed to the Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta star before hitting the BET Awards on Saturday evening.

Erica also confirmed the news by revealing to Thisis50’s Jack Thriller on the red carpet that Bow Wow is her “fiancé.” Watch the interview below.

Model Ayisha Diaz Blasts Shad Moss (Bow Wow) For Cheating On Her With Porn Stars (Instagram)

Vixen Ayisha Diaz has decided to speak out against Shad Moss’ “gold digger” comments on Instagram. The rapper and 106 & Park host went public with his relationship with Diaz in May, and indirectly talked about their downfall in a recent Instagram post about women using him for his name and fame.

The beauty posted her version of what happened and claims that the rapper cheated on her with porn stars. She also suggested to Shad to stop spilling his feelings on social media.

“DON’T START A FIRE YOU CAN’T PUT OUT!” she said. “You see that I’m happy in my new relationship, so you’re sour and bitter spreading rumors and making up s*** trying to me me look bad..I clearly told you not to go to the blogs..you f***** up and I moved on quietly.”

She continued in her caption:

Car Company Calls Bow Wow Out For Stunting In Rented Ferrari (Instagram Goes In)

Bow Weezy is getting called out by a luxury rental car company.

 

Bow Wow has been a recent target for social media slander as a luxury car rental company put him on blast for allegedly riding around in their rented Ferrari. Bow Wow posted a picture of himself over the Grammy weekend riding in the Ferrari California, but was later put on blast inadvertently by "Platinum Transportation". It doesn't appear as though they meant to air him out for riding in a rented vehicle, but rather just shout him out for supporting their company, but Instagram users have gone into full shade mode as a result.

"Our good friend @bowwow pulling up to the Grammys with our Ferrari California #PML," they posted. The hate from fans has been fully loaded since this post went live.

The REAL Bow Wow Responds To Crazy “Catfish” Episode About Bow Wow (Video)

There’s no harm in free promo right? Well, at least Bow Wow feels that way. The last episode of MTV’s Catfish had viewers clutching their stomachs as a girl who goes by the name D-Pimpin’ tricked 19-year-old Keyonnah into thinking she was dating Bow Wow.

The level of foolery that went down on the Tuesday night’s episode of “Catfish” was at an all time high. We’re honestly too drained to even give you the blow by blow. But we’ll provide a couple memes and quotes so you get the gist until you can watch that mug for yourself.

So….

Down in North Carolina, Keyaunna (yep) has been carrying on an internet relationship with Shad “Bow Wow” Moss. Since Keyaunna is Bow’s biggest fan, she left her phone number on his fan page and was extra geeked when “Bow Wow” called her up. She and “Bow Wow” had been communicating with romantic messages and more for months. What’s the “more” you ask? Well, “Bow Wow” even sent a $10,000 MONEY ORDER (so we’re not doing Chase Quick Pay or Paypal in 2013 we guess) to Keyaunna to gift her with some riches.

Keyaunna became skeptical when “Bow Wow” was never available to Skype or meet up because he was so “busy”.

After a text exchange with Nev telling whoever was on the other line that they don’t believe he is Bow Wow, the response: “You’re right. This isn’t Bow Wow. This is Shad Moss. I’m taping “106 and Park” so I’ll call u back.”

Chile. Yes, THAT is why she became skeptical. P.S. Keyaunna is somebody’s mama and has a daughter.

Fast forward to Nev and co. tracking down the phone number that has been calling Keyaunna. After some roundabout calls–involving a chick from MTV–we learn that it’s not Bow Wow’s number and the assistant’s name “Bow Wow” gave isn’t correct. And they also find out the phone number belongs to someone in Atlanta.
Fast forward again to what goes down after Nev, Keyaunna and Max road trip to the ATL. Foolywangery ensues.

“Dee Pimpin”–a CHICK who claims to be a musician–is the real person impersonating Bow Wow. We’re still unclear how she got that $10K (outside of assuming she commits some type of fraudulent schemes for a living) since NONE of her music is online and she pretty much doesn’t exist by name.

She said, “I don’t post my music online because people will steal it.” Oh really?
