Gucci Mane Hit W/ More Prison Time

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane’s stay in federal prison has just been extended after reportedly pleading guilty to aggravated assault for attacking a fan in Georgia last year. According to reports, Mane pleaded guilty and received a three-year sentence Monday (September 15) for his March 16, 2013 Atlanta nightclub attack.

Authorities have said the man approached Davis and was looking to have his picture taken with him. Prosecutors say the fan was an Army staff sergeant in town on a brief military leave. Authorities have said the man suffered a deep cut which required 10 stitches. Spokeswoman Yvette Jones says Davis’s three-year sentence will be served concurrently with a 39-month federal firearms sentence that he was given in late August. (Fox News)

The incarcerated rapper also received his hefty sentence on a gun conviction last month.
Rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced Wednesday to serve three years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to a federal firearms charge several months ago. U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones told Davis he’s heard from his nieces and nephews that the rapper is a talented musician with a potentially bright future and warned him not to squander that. “You’re still a young man, and you can still do a lot if you follow and abide by the law,” Jones said. Gucci Mane Negotiating With Feds To Reduce Possible 20 Year Jail Time

Rapper Gucci Mane is on the verge of catching a MAJOR break that could see him escape a lengthy jail sentence stemming from two September incidents in which he threatened police with a gun.

In new court documents obtained exclusively by Radar, Gucci Mane, real name Radric Davis, and the lawyers for the U.S. government have asked the judge to push the trial – currently set for April 15 — to a later date as they work out a plea deal.

“All parties anticipate resolution without the need of a trial,” the documents said.

Last December, Davis was charged in federal court on two counts of possessing a firearm as a felon. If he’s convicted he could face up to 20 years in prison.
But the new deal indicates that he’s negogiating a deal which includes less time behind bars.

In addition, the parties state that they’re only asking for the trial date to be moved because some of the lawyers involved have take time off and need more time to negotiate the details outside the courtroom.

“The parties believe they may have resolved this matter subject to certain approvals including a meeting with the Court. However, due to various schedule conflicts, counsel have been unable to finalize the matter and given defense counsels respective absence from the jurisdiction over the next week, will be unable to finalize the matter prior to the trial date,” the documents revealed.

This announcement comes a day after Gucci was indicted on felony charges.
Rapper Gucci Mane was charged in federal court Tuesday with two counts of possessing a firearm as a felon after two September incidents during which he showed a gun and threatened police, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. Reports at the time indicated that the “Lemonade” rhymer was arrested in Atlanta on September 14 after a friend flagged down police to say he was concerned about the rapper’s behavior. (CNN)

Mane found himself in handcuffs after a couple of September incidents.
Early Sept. 14, a man who said he was a friend of the rapper’s called police to say Davis was walking down the street behaving violently, according to a police report. Breaking: Gucci Mane Sues Waka Flocka’s Mom For Ruining His Career

Gucci Mane’s career is RUINED after Waka Flocka Flame – and his MOM – spent years sabotaging and stealing money from the Ice Cream faced rapper … according to a new lawsuit.

Reports TMZ:

In the docs, Gucci claims he hired Debra Antney – Waka’s momma – to be his manager in 2006 … and says she and Waka have been robbing him blind ever since.
According to the suit, Antney and Waka released Gucci’s music and collected royalties without his permission … and Antney made herself CFO of Gucci’s corporation without his knowledge.

Gucci claims Antney regularly took more than the usual manager’s fee of 20%.
As a result, Gucci says he’s lost money, his reputation … and all he’s got left are some serious tax issues.

The Ice Cream Man is suing for fraud, racketeering, and conspiracy … and wants the courts to freeze Waka and his mom’s assets. Oh, and he wants a ring and chain returned that he claims Waka’s mom stole from him.

Waka and Mama Waka haven’t returned our calls for comment.

Gucci Mane Gets 6 Months For Probation Violation (Paperwork)

Official papers detailing Gucci Mane’s sentence have been released, and the troubled rapper is facing an 183-day sentence behind bars for violating his probation. Gucci was charged earlier this month for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana, among other charges.

Reports Vlad:

Gucci was dropped from Atlantic Records in early September, allegedly due to his legal troubles. He still has 5 open charges. Given his history they're not gonna be concurrent to the probation violation. Concealed weapon charge x 2. And with a firearm as a felon.
