Amber Rose Files For Divorce From Wiz Khalifa/Nick Cannon: “I Didn’t Cause Amber Rose’s Divorce”

Amber Rose has filed for divorce from husband-of-1-year Wiz Khalifa … and she’s gunning for full custody of their kid … TMZ has learned. In the divorce docs — obtained by TMZ — Amber says they split on Monday and cites irreconcilable differences.

Amber is asking for full legal and physical custody of their 1-year-old son Sebastian. She’s willing to give Wiz visitation.  

And this is interesting. Amber acknowledges there’s a prenup, which you would think would work in Wiz’ favor, but she says it’s valid … presumably, she’s not challenging it. The docs say the prenup provides spousal support.

As for why they split, there’s been a buzz over the last few days of infidelity, but there’s no mention of it in the papers.

We got video (below) of Amber with some guy Tuesday in Bev Hills. Our photog asks her if Wiz is keeping a close eye on Nick Cannon — there are rumors they’ve hooked up, but she’s mum.

Sources connected with the couple say the split is bitter.

 Sources close to Nick tell TMZ … Nick and Amber — who just recently got into business together — have kept things strictly professional. Nick insists … NOTHING happened in the cheating department.

Nick claims he only learned about Amber’s domestic problems through her lawyers last week when he signed her on as a client. That’s when Nick says he found out her marriage was on the rocks and only then did the two share break-up stories.

Nick Cannon — I’m The One Who Left the Relationship

Nick Cannon is the one who decided to bail on his marriage — not Mariah — sources connected with the couple tell TMZ.

 

 

Nick has made it clear to all involved … he’s deeply concerned about Mariah’s emotional state and is ending the marriage for the well being of their kids. He believes the environment around Mariah is toxic and fears for his kids.

We’re told Nick believes his kids have already shown signs of emotional upset living with Mariah.

Our sources say Nick’s MO is simple … he wants to create an environment separate from Mariah that gives the kids a safe haven from the “chaos” at her home.

Nick is also telling his people he’s deeply concerned about Mariah’s mental health and believes her people don’t care about anything but her ability to make money and pay their salaries.

And finally we’re told Nick is taking a “passive” role in the divorce … telling his lawyers to take the path of least resistance to end things as peacefully as possible.

Nick Cannon Confirms Separation From Mariah Carey (Statement)

Nick Cannon is now confirming that things between them aren’t well and that at this point, he is just trying to do what’s best for his children, Monroe & Moroccan.

 

 

This is what he had to say exclusively in a statement to The Insider With Yahoo the other day:

“There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months.

My main focus is my kids.”

Cannon reportedly told The Insider that cheating was not the cause for the troubles, as rumors swirled that Mimi hired a security guard to keep an eye on him and make sure he was being faithful (and she did say back in 2011 that she could only trust him “sometimes“). But he didn’t say anything about the effect his past comments about sex with his exes (including Kim Kardashian) and sex with Carey might have had on their relationship. He did say earlier in the year that she wasn’t too crazy about him divulging that information to the public.

“She (Mariah) said to me, ‘Oh yeah, by the way, could you keep your whore-ish past to yourself if you’re doing any interviews?’ I was like, ‘Got you.’”

True Or Nah? Times Up For Nick And Mariah?

Sources claim Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are thisclose to ending their marriage.

Mariah Carey and comedian Nick Cannon are headed for a split and “living separately” after she hired security to keep him away from other women, sources exclusively told Page Six.

Our sources tell us Carey and Cannon, the host of “America’s Got Talent,” are separating after six years of marriage. “He hasn’t been staying at their home,” one music insider tells Page Six. “He’s been living out of hotels. They’re fighting a lot.”

Another source told us Carey has suspected Cannon of cheating. And when the comic hosted pool parties in Las Vegas earlier this year, the diva dispatched a security guard to keep watch over her husband.

“The security guard wasn’t there to keep the girls away from him,” said our source. “It was to keep him away from the girls.”

Carey also didn’t want Cannon drinking while at the Vegas gigs because she felt he “gets in trouble when he drinks,” the source added.
