‘Fast & Furious 7′ Gets A New Release Date

‘Fast & Furious 7′ Gets A New Release Date

After much discussion and speculation on the future of Fast & Furious 7, Vin Diesel took to his Facebook page to provide an update on the beloved racing phenomenon. Originally slated for an ambitious 2014 summer release date, Diesel announced that the new date will be April 10, 2015. While sharing the news, Vin touched on the last scene that he and the late-Paul Walker completed and how they both felt a sense of accomplishment.

Production of Fast & Furious 7 came to a halt after the tragic death of Paul Walker on November 30th. Since then, the Fast & Furious universe has shown their support to the fallen star who left behind an impressive legacy, not only with his fims but his charity work.

Details are still unclear about how they will go forward with Paul’s character but there have been numerous reports about having Paul’s brother, Cody Walker, step in. Cody works as a film stuntman and is considered to be an ideal fit to complete the movie. They would ultimately use him for long distant and action sequences and provide CGI for any close up scenes.

Update: Paul Walker Body Unidentifiable, Autopsy Delayed (Crash Video)

Paul Walker’s body was burned so badly the coroner needs his dental records to identify the body. A rep for the L.A. County Coroner says the bodies of Paul and his friend/business partner Roger Rodas are currently unidentifiable and their autopsies will be delayed until later this week.

Reports TMZ:

We’re told the coroner is waiting on both sets of dental records before proceeding.
Rodas — who was driving the Porsche yesterday — was friends with Walker for nearly a decade … and Roger has been credited with helping Paul start his race shop.

The two also joined forces to create the “Reach Out World Wide” Foundation to help disaster relief in other countries — and as we first reported … the group was behind yesterday’s fundraiser for typhoon relief in Santa Clarita.

Breaking: Fast And Furious Star Paul Walker Dead In Fiery Car Crash

Paul Walker – best known for his role in “The Fast and the Furious” movies — died Saturday afternoon after a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California.

According to TMZ:
The accident happened in Santa Clarita — north of Los Angeles — and according to multiple sources connected to Paul … the actor was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control and slammed into a post or a tree … and then the car burst into flames.

Several of our sources — some who are still at the scene of the accident — tell us Paul and another person in the car were killed. Law enforcement is still on the scene, and we’re told the L.A. County Coroner’s Office is on the way.

At this point, it’s unclear what caused the accident, or who was behind the wheel when it happened.
Paul was 40 years old.
Sources close to Paul tell us he was in Santa Clarita for a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort, and had been taking friends out for rides in his new Porsche GT. The accident happened during one of those test spins.

Damn homie...R.I.P.
