Bmore native, Mario, is still on the comeback trail as he releases the second single from his upcoming album, tentatively titled "Restoration." Straight Like Daaat has an exclusive first listen of his ballad, "Fatal Distraction". Over a mid-tempo beat and eerie production, Mario has his eyes on his best friend’s girl, but fears his jones for her will lead to disastrous consequences. In another case of art imitating life, Mario says the song was inspired by a real life situation in which he was dealing with his manager’s ex-girlfriend. “It just talks about the distractions and temptations and the infatuation that can have on a man when it comes to a woman,” he says. Mario is almost finished with his new project, which is set to arrive in September. I will definitely keep you posted but check out this smooth new joint, "Fatal Distraction" here:
