Dear DMX: Don’t Fight George Zimmerman/Sign White House Petition To Stop Fight

Allhiphop.com co-founder Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur wrote a moving letter to DMX about why he should throw in the towel on the "celebrity fight" between him & murderer George Zimmerman.

 

Dear DMX,
Its Trayvon’s birthday.

Trayvon Benjamin Martin.
 
That’s right. Today – February 5th – would be Trayvon Martin’s 19th birthday had he not been cut down by a bullet fired by George Zimmerman. As you already know, the unarmed Trayvon was minding his own business, heading to his Florida home, when a self-proclaimed neighborhood watch dog Zimmerman decided to harass him, follow him and then kill him. Most people feel that justice was not served and that Trayvon was murdered in cold blood. Then, his killer walked out of court a free man, protected by a mix of legal red tape, a society that still stereotypes Black man and apparently the backing of gun lobbyist like the NRA.
 
X, I know there are no papers signed, but on behalf of millions of people, I’m asking that you completely withdraw from fighting George Zimmerman in this proposed “celebrity boxing” match.
 
I’m not here to judge. I don’t know your financial status. I don’t know your reasoning for considering this “fight.” In fact, all I know is you are still mad as hell that George Zimmerman killed Trayvon – like most in our community. According to reports, you want to “beat the living s**t” out of Zimmerman. Understandable.
To keep this simple and plain, here is a list of 10 reasons why you should NOT get in the ring with George Zimmerman.
 
1) Zimmerman is clearly making a play at being a celebrity villain, deeming this a celebrity boxing match. There is only one celebrity and that’s you. He’s the killer of a 17-year old boy.
 
2) We don’t yet know how Trayvon’s family feels about this. If they don’t approve, we don’t approve.
 
3) The “die slow” theory, is one that I first heard from you. Don’t give Zimmerman a shot at opulence and prosperity. You could unwittingly be jumping off his career. Let him remain a pariah and allow his legacy to disintegrate into dust.
 
4) Don’t be party to this sick clown’s media circus.(Read about George Zimmerman’s drug habit.)

5) Zimmerman PICKED YOU. He had The Game and didn’t want any parts of your Compton brother. He tried to get Kanye West, who he definitely thinks he can beat and who offers more attention. He wants to fight you, because he sees you as somebody that he can beat. At LEAST, you are somebody that won’t make him look bad.
 
6) Zimmerman is trained in mixed martial arts. He looks portly and out of shape, but please believe he’s got some skill sets that trump street fighting.
 
7) This is deeper than Hip-Hop, but this “celebrity boxing” event makes a mockery of it too.
 
8) Your first record was “Born Loser” and this could solidify that notion, effectively ending your career.
 
9) You should focus on the music you still have to create, not on this degenerate that wants to use you for his own ends.
 
10) Had George Zimmerman killed you X, there would be very little overarching outrage – even unarmed – and you better believe he would have killed you, given the chance.  

The detractors wouldn’t know what’s in your heart, which your fans know is very big. All the masses would lock in on would be your “rap sheet,” the headlines and would feel justified in the notion that that the streets now have one less n***a on it. We know that “they” think about us.
 

 So, what if you beat up Zimmerman? 

What changes? Nothing. Trayvon does not get justice. Zimmerman makes money. You make money. Some charity makes a couple of faux bucks. At the end of the day, nothing changes with this bout. We just get a brief, pointless media high seeing the bad guy take a frivolous loss. If he wins, then we all collectively have to watch this guy and his smug face guffaw about how he claimed victory once again over one of our warriors. This reeks of “Django Unchained,” where the enslaved engage in “Mandingo fighting,” a disgusting, dehumanizing form of gladiator entertainment. Earl Simmons, you have bigger victories to claim, in life and entertainment. You know that.

But, here’s what you do, X, should you decide to continue with the fight. 

Walk in the ring.

Pull out a gun – a gun with no munitions in it.
Let an unarmed Zimmerman for a brief moment feel what Trayvon felt as he approached the end of his life.

Ahh..better yet, just don’t show up. We all want justice, but there are a myriad of better ways to honor the life of Trayvon Benjamin Martin.
Happy birthday, Trayvon.

Zimmerman’s “Celebrity Boxing Match” Will Have Heavy Security In Case Anyone Wants To Kill Him

George Zimmerman’s celebrity boxing match will be held in a secret location FILLED with security –and it’s all being done to protect George from vengeful foes.

We’re told there will only be 100 people present. Some will be “celebrities” and reporters. The promoter is worried if the venue becomes public … someone will do to George what he did to Trayvon. 

The event will be seen online … through a paid subscription. As we previously reported … both the Game and DMX wanna go toe-to-toe with Trayvon Martin’s killer in March.

DMX Accepts Zimmerman Boxing Challenge “I Am Going To P*ss On Him”

Former Ruff Ryders leader DMX has confirmed recent reports which claim he is up for throwing on a pair of boxing gloves and facing-off against notorious ex-neighborhood watch worker George Zimmerman.

 

Not only has X confirmed an interest in fighting Zimmerman but he also dished out how bad of a beating he would deliver.

The 43-year old rapper tells TMZ … he’s throwing his name out as a potential opponent for George’s upcoming celebrity boxing gig — just like The Game? — and says he wants to do it for “every black person who has been done wrong in the system.” DMX adds, “I am going to beat the living f**k out him … I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up.” DMX says, “Once I am done with him, I am going to whip my d**k out and piss on him … right in his muthaf**kin face.” He adds, “Zimmerman is a piece of s**t and that’s what he needs to drink.” (TMZ)
According to celebrity promoter Damon Feldman, Zimmerman is preparing for the fight of his life.

But according to Damon Feldman, the promoter of the event who has 55 celebrity boxing matches under his belt via his Celebrity Boxing Federation (CBF), George Zimmerman believes Game is the best opponent. “He [George Zimmerman] is open to any challengers that make sense, but he is training hard and he said ‘Game is the perfect opponent,’” Damon Feldman told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive interview. Damon recently said he had rejected Game’s initial offer but revealed Zimmerman was up for facing-off against X.

Yesterday, Game said his interest in fighting Zimmerman would solely stem from loyalty to slain teenager Trayvon Martin.

The Game will throw his hat in the ring to fight George Zimmerman in the upcoming celebrity boxing match, and he tells TMZ, “I will beat the f**k out of him.” Zimmerman has agreed to the March 1 celebrity boxing match … the promoter hasn’t selected his opponent, but is taking offers at fightgeorge@hotmail.com. Game says, “I would not be boxing for me. I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family.” (TMZ)

Not only would Game knuckle up but he promised a flawless victory.
The rapper, who has a tattoo of Trayvon on his leg, says, “I would box him to knock him out,” adding, “I would definitely take pleasure in it. It’s legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon.” Game would definitely have the edge … he’s 6’5″, and 240 lbs of muscle. (TMZ)

Last month, Game said Tray’s mother reached out and acknowledged his decision to get a tattoo of her son.

“Yeah, that one’s on my leg. It’s hard to get up because of these jeans,” Game told host Arsenio Hall. “I got him in a hoody. It’s just the picture that everybody knows. It’s him in a hoody. I actually got a text message from his mom, which is cool. She appreciated the gesture. And, you know, I get tattoos all the time and that was just that whole story. WTF: George Zimmerman Agrees To Celeb Boxing Match: “I’ll Fight Anyone, Even Black People”

How would you like to beat the sh!t out of George Zimmerman with NO REPERCUSSIONS? Well, here's your chance---he just agreed to a celebrity boxing match … and he says he’ll fight ANYONE … even black people.

Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman threw down the challenge, offering George money to step in the ring. 

Lately George has been more interested in boxing than guns and has regularly been training in the ring.

Now, in an effort to raise money for charity, Zimmerman will enter the ring and is open to any opponent. And YES George is even open to fighting a black person, but Feldman is not discriminating, stating “We’re not looking at it as a race thing … We haven’t discussed purple, yellow, white, black.” Feldman is still searching for a worthy opponent for Zimmerman and has put a call to the masses. One of those who answered the call is rapper The Game.  

TMZ caught up with the rapper who quickly agreed to the March 1 fight. “I would not be boxing for me. I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family,” The Game commented. “I would box him to knock him out,” adding, “I would definitely take pleasure in it. It’s legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon.”
