Suge’s rep tells TMZ … the music mogul left Cedars-Sinai around 6 AM, and doctors say he won’t need any rehab — just a few follow up visits.
As we previously reported … Suge got blasted Saturday night at 1Oak nightclub at a Chris Brown hosted event — but he’s refusing to cooperate with the police investigation.
We’re told Suge is already back on a regular diet, and if he keeps his bandages clean … he’ll be good to go.
Cops are focusing on beef between gang members that triggered the nightclub shooting that landed Suge Knight in an ICU with multiple bullet wounds … law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
We’re told cops are interested in a common denominator with Chris Brown, Suge and Game — Bloods affiliation.
Eyewitnesses tell us Brown was throwing up gang signs before the shooting inside 1OAK early Sunday and he was performing with a red bandana — the Bloods’ moniker.
Game — who got in a fight outside 1OAK before the shooting because they wouldn’t let him in — is a known and proud member of the Bloods. His album is called Blood Money.
As for Suge … one of the most notorious things about him is his Bloods affiliation.
And we know … cops are interested in this — there were several known gang bangers surrounding Chris at the time of the shooting.
This could all be problematic for Brown …. He’s still on probation in the Rihanna beating case, and hanging with gang members and throwing gang signs is not going to impress the judge. Suge is out of surgery … according to family sources. We’re told Suge was shot 6 times. He’s currently in ICU, but is expected to recover.

You see, ever since Chris Brown got OUT OF REHAB – he’s changed his lifestyle and his circle of friends. Our snitch explains, “Chris used to run with a bunch of gang bangers who were really scary. When he got out [of rehab], he cut them all off. I guess they’re UPSET about that.”
The inside snitch tells us that Chris was being THREATENED by his ex-homies . . . and they have been trying to EXTORT MONEY out of him for weeks. Well last night when Chris was at the VMAs it all came to a head. MediaTakeOut.com explained, “It was [Chris Brown's former homies] shooting. And they were trying to hit Chris.”
A source close to Suge tells us … he was shot in the stomach and arm.
Tyson Beckford, Robert Ri’chard and Apple de Ap all tell TMZ … they were inside the pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown when they heard 4 shots ring out inside the club.
Suge walked out on his own power … a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat. Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.
We do not know the seriousness of Suge’s injuries. Multiple sources now tell us Suge was one of 3 people who were shot. At least 1 is in critical condition. Sheriff’s deputies had guns drawn as clubgoers exited with their hands in the air right after the shooting.
The night started with tension. An hour-and-a-half before the shots, Game came to the club and he and his buddies got into an altercation with security guards … there was a full-on fight. Game tried to get in was denied and left, but his buddies stayed behind. We do not know if they were involved in the altercation.
This was not the first time Suge called out Ross though. Back in 2012 the Death Row co-founder took issue with Rick Ross and Meek Mill’s song “Tupac Back.”
Suge said at the time, “I don’t got nothing negative [against him] personally, I just feel like he do do good music, and you can’t take that from him. That boy got bars, he’s gonna write…at the same time, I feel like there’s a line you cross, and Rick Ross crossed that line. If you’re gonna be with [Diddy] who killed Tupac, you can’t go turn around and do a record [called] ‘Tupac Back’… Rick Ross is a grown ass n***a. I’ll beat the dog s**t out of Rick Ross for manipulating these people out here.”
According to TMZ, Suge Knight was pulled over by the LAPD and it ended with guns being drawn on him. Police sources say this all started when the cops received an assault report and Suge allegedly matched the profile of the suspect. Suge, the unsuspecting driver was then pulled over when the cops saw his car and proceeded to pull their guns out on him.
As you can see on TMZ’s site, Suge was out of the car with his hands up and surrounded by police. In what seems to be an attempt to “make nice” (or probably to just save his life), Suge Knight agreed to go down to the police station to clrar up the misunderstanding. After some time, Knight was let go.
In fact, the LAPD believe that the assault report was never even true.
That sounds like a problem for them because according to sources close to the situation, Suge Knight is pretty upset about it and is considering suing the police department.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, police had received a report of an assault, and the suspect matched Suge’s description — so when officers spotted Suge in his vehicle … they pulled him over, and jumped out of their patrol car with their guns drawn.
We’re told Suge agreed to go to the police station, where he explained he wasn’t the man they were looking for … in fact, police now believe the initial report of an assault was bogus.
Suge was eventually released … but sources close to the hip hop mogul tell TMZ, he is extremely pissed about the misunderstanding — and is considering filing a lawsuit.
