T.I. Goes In On DC WKYS Radio Host Over Rumor About His Cancelled Show (Instagram)

 

ATL Rapper T.I. recently had a few choice words for a Washington, D.C. radio host who entertained a story from a fan about why his recent show in the Chocolate City was cancelled. The story, as told by WKYS radio host Brittany Waters of “Tonight’s Tea With Britt”, goes as follows:

 

During my show, #ItsBrittShow on 93.9 WKYS in DC. I have a segment called Tonight’s Tea With Britt where I let my listners call in and tell me about their night.

I had a caller tell me she attended T.I.’s show at The Howard Theatre and she saw one of his hypemen on stage have a seizure which canceled the performance.

Viacom Paying Millions Over Corpse Shown On T.I.’s MTV Show

An episode of T.I.’s Road To Redeption show aired by MTV in February of 2009 has wound up costing Viacom millions of dollars due to a lawsuit stemming from a dead man’s body being featured on the show.

 

T.I. visiting Joseph William’s deceased body in the Haugabrooks Funeral Home in downtown Atlanta didn’t sit too well with Williams’ family, and they sued Viacom in 2011 for a hefty fee. The lawsuit contained claims such as “invasion of privacy, violation of likeness and negligent misrepresentations about the decedent,” and Viacom refused to settle on June 29th, 2014 — a full three years after the suit was filed in 2011.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Viacom turned down a settlement “for an amount that, even after deducting from the $5 million policy limit the extensive defense costs incurred during more than three years of litigation, was within the $5 million policy limit of the Insurance Policy.”

Viacom’s insurance apparently covers $3 million for each claim, which still leaves them with millions leftover to pay for each charge. Luckily for T.I., he is not being held in any way accountable for the episode being aired which displayed Williams’ body.

T.I. Comes For Floyd Mayweather?

The word from my Detroit people is that T.I. sent a strong message to Floyd Mayweather during his Chene Park concert earlier this week. The day after Floyd Mayweather backtracked on claims that he slept with T.I.’s wife Tiny, TIP held a concert at Chene Park in Detroit and had a message for guys who talk slick then backtrack on the their words.

At one point in the show T.I. told the crowd,”If I said some shit and when a mutha fucka check me about it I’m not gonna back down off my word cause Imma real nigga.”
Then he had the DJ play his song Stand Up FOUR times in a row! 

Lyrics from stand up include,

Clap Back: Tiny And TIP Dismiss Rumors Of Cheating From Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather says he never said he had sex with T.I.’s wife Tiny … and claims the audio in the footage posted this morning wasn’t clear. And now…T.I. and Tiny clap back.

 

Mayweather tells TMZ Sports …he ACTUALLY said, “he thinks I was f***ing his bitch.”

In the video, Floyd does try to mutter something before the sex line — but it’s hard to make out.

Mayweather adds, “I’ve never been with Tiny sexually. I respect her situation and I think she’s a good person. I would never disrespect a marriage.”

T.I.’s wife Tiny confirms that statement … telling us she’s never had sexual relations with Floyd — and thinks he only spoke out at the presser to get revenge for her BET Awards diss.

As for T.I. … he simply told us, “I hope he is enjoying himself. God bless him.”

T.I. G-Checks Apollo Nida On Camera For Making Snitching Allegations About Him (Video)

Apollo Nida won’t be comparing himself to T.I. anymore — especially when it comes to snitching — because the rapper and his boy Killer Mike put the fear of God into Apollo in Atlanta yesterday … and the whole confrontation was recorded.

 

TMZ broke the story … “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Nida copped a plea with the Feds in his wire and bank fraud case — and part of the terms included Nida agreeing to become an informant to help catch other crooks. Aka snitching.

Nida tried to downplay our story with a tweet … claiming T.I. and Michael Vick signed similar “snitching” deals in their cases. Big mistake.

T.I. and Mike caught up with Nida in a parking lot yesterday … and made it extremely clear — he better keep T.I.’s name out of his mouth.

In the vid … T.I. tells Nida their cases were not similar at all.

T.I.’s right … we’ve seen the documents and his plea agreement with the Feds does NOT include a so-called snitching clause.

Nida has since deleted the tweet — and after what happens in this video … safe to say he won’t be saying, tweeting, or even thinking anything about T.I. again.

T.I. To Produce Oxygen Reality Series, ‘Sisterhood Of Hip Hop’

The family hustle is expanding! In addition to Tameka “Tiny” Harris starring in a VH1 spin-off with her bff Shekinah Anderson, it looks like Clifford “T.I.” Harris will also be further exploring the world of reality television.

 

Oxygen recently announced that the rapper-turned-reality-star is set to executive produce a new reality series for their network titled “Sisterhood of Hip Hop”. A brief description of the series provided by Oxygen reads: 

“With Grammy-Award winning recording artist T.I. as Executive Producer, this powerful and uplifting series follows the next generation of female hip-hop artists Siya, Nyemiah Supreme, Diamond, Brianna Perry and Bia as they live, love and work towards their dream of becoming the next big breakout star, which has always been a man’s game and these ladies are rewriting the rules of the music scene. 

Discovered and mentored by hip-hop icons, these creative and ambitious women are making it while breaking boundaries and defying doubters. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new series is a part of the network’s latest initiative to shift its branding and target a new demographic—modern, young women.
