NFL Coach Gary Kubiak Remains In Hospital After Collapsing During Texans Game

Doctors are trying to figure out Monday what happened to Houston Texans head coach Gary when he collapsed on the field as he was going into the locker room for halftime of their game against the Indianapolis Colts.

According to Yahoo Sports:

Kubiak remains hospitalized and in stable condition as he undergoes further testing.
The Texans led 21-3 at halftime but fell to the Indianapolis Colts, 27-24. There is no timetable yet for Kubiak's return.
Kubiak was taken to the hospital last night for "precautionary reasons" and did not suffer a heart attack or a stroke but was treated for "stroke-like symptoms," per the Houston Chronicle.
Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips told The Shutdown Corner Monday morning by text message that he plans to visit Kubiak again today but did not confirm if he was officially named interim head coach. Phillips said Sunday night that he, like everyone else watching Kubiak struggle, wasn't sure what was going on at the time.
“I saw him on the ground and I was asking, ‘What happened?’” Phillips said. “That’s kind of how it was with everybody, with everybody asking, ‘What happened? What happened? What happened?’
“There was a lot of unknown. … It was a shock to everybody.”

The Texans play at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.
