Wale Comes Clean On Meek Mill Feud: “He Ended Up Going To Jail Like 2 Days Later”

Maybach Music Group’s Wale has stepped forward to speak out on his relationship with locked up labelmate Meek Mill following a publicized feud earlier this summer. According to Wale, MMG head Rick Ross played a part in bringing the peace to their situation.

“He was just like, ‘Man, what? We ain’t talking ‘bout this right now.’ The crazy thing about it, Meek ended up going to jail like two days later. So it’s like bad. You have an argument with somebody and then something bad happen and you like, ‘Damn.’ So it was bad for me in that regard.” (“Russ Parr Morning Show”)

Despite Meek going at Wale’s neck, Ross recently said he ironed things out between both MMG artists.

“It’s a misunderstanding. As soon as the tweets went out, I spoke to both of them on the phone. Those two guys, they’re brothers. At the end of the day, they’re brothers and it’s time to turn up right now. It’s time for all of us to turn up and stay turned up, you know what I mean? But it’s all love between those two and everybody knows that.” (Bullet Media)

Ross also explained how the feud may have been sparked due to both artists growing independently.

“That’s why you seen whatever was said, the little brotherly jabs and then that was it. That’s all you’re going to see. They’re two real dudes, two successful dudes, and we all came from the same place. When I first brought them on the team, we all drove to our first video set together. It was just us three, and I felt we all was at the bottom at the time. You know, Wale was in his new situation, Meek in his first situation, and me in my very first situation being a CEO, being a bawse with my own label deal. So we all was on the same flow, and once we mention that, it’s all good.” (Bullet Media)

Wale posted a screenshot of a Meek track he promoted on Instagram and defended his image following the feud starting.

“Few weeks ago. (7w) I posted this .but ok. Movin along . My Avi always changed when it’s THAT time .. Ok that’s not enough y’all see “razor ramon ” post on his no. But I don’t care.. I wrote a long ass post day before his single dropped .. Mariah record dropped nobody said a word I didn’t care .. I still don’t… I carry myself with confidence and humility ., I always try to have a lighter side to MMG.. Cuz I understand I don’t “fit the mold” so if I’m tryna spruce an interview up to show that we not tryn be “serious tough guys” on the red carpet Or try to be a bit more engaging to broaden our audience forgive me . I never wanted anybody to think we take ourselves THAT serious. (Were rappers )I don’t need to take anybody shine.. Or hate on anybody . I walk in a completely different world .. Where I look for slp jeans and Shanghai dunks online and know what “kayfabe” means. I check nbadraft.net daily . I’m on whatculture allll day I enjoy shyt like that. I play f**kin Zelda and f**k wit bitches who teach yoga and paint… I get it . I’m different .” (Wale’s Instagram)

Breaking: Floyd Mayweather Airs Out Miss Jackson And Nelly On Big Tigger’s Show (Audio/Tweets)

Floyd Mayweather spoke with Big Tigger from V103 about his very public issues with Ms. Jackon during a Friday interview, and the pro boxer shared details about their separation, why he decided to post the abortion documents on Facebook, and how he took care of her and her family for a long time. Floyd stated clearly to Tigger multiple times that, “I was in love with somebody that I didn’t know.”

Mayweather discovered that she actually had an abortion, and not a miscarriage like she initially claimed, while doing an interview with All Access. Showtime informed him that the documents listed an abortion, not a miscarriage, which deeply hurt Floyd. He went on to detail how Shantel sold one of her expensive cars for around $80,000 and neglected to give some of the money to her mother who was still living in a less-than-comfortable and safe area, so he took it upon himself to pay to have a gate installed around her house to help keep her safe.

The picture that Floyd painted of Shantel to Big Tigger made her out to be what is commonly referred to as a “gold digger,” rather than a woman who truly loves the man she’s with. He explained how he came to learn that eventually, and how her behavior caused him to cease supporting her and her family the way he had been doing for so long, because he realized that she wasn’t the person he thought she was.
When Tigger asked Mayweather the ultimate question of whether or not he thinks Shantel Jackson ever really loved him, Floyd’s response was as sincere as it could’ve been.

“After everything that I’ve been going through, I don’t know,” he stated. “I can’t really say. I loved her.” He then spoke on the emotional impact that Ms. Jackson’s miscarriage claim had on him, then only to find out that she really had an abortion behind his back.
“I’m human, I reacted out of emotions because I got upset. She telling me that stress from me caused her to have a miscarriage when really she had an abortion.”
On whether Floyd’s feelings are still hurt:

“Yes my feelings are hurt. It’s selfish to only think about yourself. Her thing is I don’t want to mess up my body. My thing is, everything on your body I paid for. If we had the baby, I could put your body together again. Everything I did for you I did out of the kindness of my heart, not for your looks. Everything on you is fake. You got a fake but, fake titties, you got work done on your face. My love is genuine, I accepted you as you are.

“I tried to help her build her brand, her name. Get her clothing line up there. If she’s your queen you’ve got to uplift her. You [Ms. Jackson] were just with me not too long ago, sexually. Then you’re courtside with some guy? Whether you’re having sex or not, that’s not a good look. Have some dignity, some self respect.”

Floyd also touched on any tension that may exist between him and rapper Nelly. He claimed that although Ms. Jackson has been snuggling up to Nelly on Instagram recently, she actually used to talk trash about him while Floyd was with her. According to Floyd, Shantel used to complain to a friend named Jacky about her relationship with Nelly.
“[There were] a lot of negative things she said about him,” Floyd recalled. “‘He’s on steroids. He’s broke. He has no more money. He [Nelly] borrowed over a half a million dollars from Ashanti.’ I would always say that’s not my business. I really don’t have anything negative to say about him. As a black man i was proud of him [for 'Country Grammar'].

“I’ve seen him at my fights, I’ve seen him supporting me even though he’s said negative things about me. [Things like] ‘I seen Floyd hanging with this girl and that girl.’”
Floyd concluded addressing his turbulent split with Ms. Jackson by explaining how he believes she’s changed into a person who will do anything for fame.
“At the beginning of training camp we [Ms. Jackson and I] were at my house, we were together, sexually. She’ll do anything for fame…With the baby thing, I was truly, truly hurt. Truly hurt.”

Many fans have been wondering whether or not this drama will effect Floyd on the day of his fight with Marcos Maidana, and he was honest in stating that he doesn’t know how the fight will play out, but he’ll do his best to win.

“I can’t say how the fight is going to play out, but I’m going to be at my best, like always. [I'll] listen to the instructions that my father gives me, and do what I do best, and that’s fight.”

Since Floyd concluded his interview with Big Tigger, Twitter has been swamped with loads of fan reactions.

Jay Z Addresses Drake On Jay Electronica’s “We Made It”

Jay Z addresses Drake’s recent comments regarding his references to art on Jay Electronica’s “We Made It.” “Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk,” Jay Z raps on the track.

“Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk,” Jay Z raps on the track. “Silly me, rappin’ ’bout shit that I really bought / While these rappers rap about guns that they ain’t shot / And a bunch of other silly shit that they ain’t got.”

Jay Z’s “Drizzy” reference likely stems from Drake’s Rolling Stone interview in February. In the article, Drake criticizes Jay Z’s references to art.

“It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references,” Drake says in the article. “I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.”

Prior to that, Drake was believed to make a reference to Jay Z and Kanye West on “I’m On One.”

“I’m just feelin’ like the throne is for the taking” Drake raps on the track. “Watch me take it.”

In its article, Rolling Stone notes that Drake’s line is likely a reference to Watch the Throne, a collaborative album made by Jay Z and Kanye West. In the article, Drake admits that he wasn’t in good graces with West and Jay at one point. “It was a lack of communication paired with natural competitiveness,” Drake says in the piece. “But those two are gods to me.”

The article also included criticism of Kanye West’s Yeezus album. “There were some real questionable bars on there,” Drake says in the article. “Like that Swag-hili line? Come on man, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that.”

After the Rolling Stone article was published, Drake said that he never criticized Yeezus and vowed to not do anymore interviews.

Jay Z’s verse on Jay Electronica’s “We Made It” follows Drake’s appearance with Soulja Boy on “We Made It Freestyle.” Both selections share the same beat.

H*e To Housewife?: Draya’s NFL Boyfriend Wants Her To Quit BBWLA & Become Housewife (Audio)

Looks like Orlando is ready for Draya to “delete her h*eness” forever! The reality star says her baller-boo wants her to quit ‘BBWLA’ for good and ho sit down so she can act like a real houswife.

“You know what? I think it’s been really hard on my boyfriend,” Draya said during an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood. “We watch it together and he’s came to the point already. It’s been episode one, we saw 60 minutes of what is going to be going on for 12 weeks and he’s like ‘You know what? I don’t think you should do this next year. How much are they paying you again? I’ll pay you double to sit your a** on the couch.’”

Although Draya insists she’s ready to “delete her hoeness” (see video above) and act like a housewife, she says she’s not ready to end her affair with reality tv just yet.
“Well, I think that ‘Basketball Wives’ is my date to the prom so I gotta dance with her for a little bit because that’s who I came with,” she explained. “But I don’t have to go home to her at the end of the night. So I would like to do my own thing eventually. Once the ‘Basketball Wives’ train comes to a stop, I would like to graduate into the Draya Show and I’m already transitioning into that.”

Drake Drops Kendrick Lamar Diss, TDE CEO Responds (Audio)

Young Money’s Drake has the Internet blazing this week after supposedly taking shots at Kendrick Lamar on Future’s new “Sh!t” remix with handfuls of subliminal jabs.

Various media outlets have suggested Drizzy’s bars go directly at K. Dot’s head.
Earlier today Future’s tour DJ, Esco, dropped the remix to “Sh!t” featuring Drake and Juicy J. While Drake doesn’t address Kendrick Lamar directly, Internet consensus is that the Toronto rapper takes aim at Compton’s finest in his opening verse: “And if a n*gga say my name, he the hot sh*t /But if I say that n*gga name he still the hot sh*t /F*cked up, lucky I don’t feed into the gossip /N*ggas act like they don’t know but they should know /Yeah, I just think it’s funny how they danglin’ the bait /But I’m the one whose killin’ n*ggas on the hooks though” (Complex)

Following the song’s release, Kendrick’s Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith responded via Twitter.

“If this is the best sh*t n*ggas got… I feel sorry 4 em…lmao #TDE,” Top Dawg tweeted December 17.

“the kid made rap fun again…everybody shud thank him…#TDE” (Anthony Tiffith’s Twitter)

Last month, Lamar said he had no real gripes with Drake and felt the Toronto native was very necessary for the new wave in music.

“I was having fun, rapping, man,” K. Dot replied when asked if he took shots at Drake during his TDE cypher. “Yeah. Nah, we we just having fun, you feel what I’m saying? Hip-hop is a sport and people are going to dissect lyrics and that’s what it’s about at the end of the day. I got nothing against Drake. He put out a great album, again, he’s doing his thing. He’s a part of this new generation that’s doing this music, you feel me?” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Audio: Kanye West Screams On Sway During Shade 45 Interview (Full Interview)

Kanye West has been doing a number of radio interviews recently in promotion of the Yeezus Tour, but none have been as heated and wild as this one.

Reports XXL:

Kanye took to Shade 45 earlier this afternoon to talk with Sway about the tour and the fashion industry, among other things. When Kanye began talking about how he’s been shunned from the industry—a common theme of his recent rants—Sway then posed the question, “Why don’t you empower yourself…and do it yourself? ” The question set Kanye off. He began yelling at Sway and telling him that he hasn’t been doing his research and doesn’t know anything about the topic. Eventually, Sway told Kanye to calm down and that he“ain’t gotta turn up” and that their conversation wasn’t a “fucking show.”

After a couple minutes of yelling on both sides, both guys calmed down. Kanye eventually apologized and said he didn’t mean disrespect. It’s hard to tell what exactly about Sway’s question irked Kanye so bad, but ‘Ye did seem to hint that he’s lost a lot of money—a $13 million figure was thrown out—on trying to start his own fashion line. If that’s the case, his anger may be justifiable.
