According to The Hollywood Reporter Nelly and Shantel just inked a deal with BET for an unnamed reality show project focusing on Nelly and his hip-hop career, fashion empire, business acumen as co-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats and father to his biological and late sister’s children, all while juggling his relationship with Floyd Mayweather’s ex finace’ Shantel Jackson.
An air date has not been set.
It all started over the weekend when Floyd’s ex-fiance Shantel Jackson and rapper Nelly began flooding social media with pictures of themselves celebrating Shantel’s birthday together.
Not to be outdone last night Floyd posted a flip-book of pictures featuring himself and his personal-masseuse-turned-girlfriend Bad Medina, wishing her a happy birthday and thanking her for being his go to girl for the past five years.
“Happy birthday @badmedina. I appreciate you and I LOVE you. You’ve been by my side for 5 years and helped me win 5 of my 11 World titles. Every time I called on you, you were my shoulder to cry on and a friend that I could talk to about anything. Every gift you received from me, you truly deserve because you’re a gift that God gave me.”
The gag is Floyd and Shantel Jackson just broke up a year ago.
Floyd Mayweather and Shantel Jackson have been on the outs for a while if you’ve been paying attention.
Floyd has been busy posting gifts online that he repossessed from Shantel and they’ve been trading subliminal insults back and forth via social media.
The final straw came for Shantel after Floyd had her instagram page erased.
Shantel quickly put up another page with a subliminal aimed at Floyd stating her old page was erased by a ‘jealous person who spent money to have it done all because she said no.’
Then she posted the quote “If you want to know how rich you are, find out how many things you have that money cannot buy.”
Shantel’s original page was eventually re-activated with all her followers in tact.
Miss Jackson later confirmed to TMZ that she and Floyd are done.
After weeks of cryptic posts online hinting at a break-up Shantel changed her Instagram name to Shantel Jackson Mayweather.
