Shortly after the story broke, a representative for the PR firm that handled the event reached out to us with a slightly different version of the story, claiming that the extent of Tahiry’s injuries & hospitalization in the original story we recieved were fabricated. Here’s what they had to say:
“Tahiry arrived to the Helen Mills venue around 4pm, as she was going to model for Toure’s show, requesting not to enter where “the normal people” go. Her assistant was instructed that the normal people entrance is the only one available.
Once Tahiry arrived, she requested for all the models to be removed from the hair and makeup area so that her personal team could begin makeup for the show. The show manager’s assistant obliged her request and cleared out a few rows where the models where sitting to allow her private time. Tahiry continued to patronize the assistant using profanity. Her assistant and glam squad joined in on the berating.
The group moved their argument back upstairs and outside of the venue. A minor scuffle was heard but ignored because no yelling accompanied. Then someone yelled, “why are you fighting a woman?” I ran outside to find Tahiry on the ground, a watery substance everywhere, and the show producer’s assistant being jumped by Tahiry’s assistants.
I picked Tahiry up off the ground and her makeup artist attended to her. Her hair stylist was still fighting the assistant while myself and two male models broke up the fight. A witness outside said that once the argument moved outside, Tahiry continued using profanity, sexual orientation slurs and threw her drink in the show assistant’s face.
I moved Tahiry downstairs to a safe place and asked her what happened. Her response: “nothing.” I asked her if she was okay and she said yes. She had no scratches and denied the help of the paramedics, assuming she would go to jail for fighting. She and her staff left the premises and a report was given by our staff to the police.
The story originally given to Bossip reads as if some man started beating Tahiry up while everyone stood by. To my knowledge, she was NOT hospitalized and denied the help or paramedics to me. My issue is that we continue to allow bad behavior to be warranted. Tahiry cussed this young man out and threw a drink in his face and now is playing the victim. Bad behavior evokes bad behavior if people aren’t using rational thought. I find it interesting that Tahiry could ask for a private entrance but could not ask for someone to be removed if she saw them as a threat. I do not condone men hitting women, nor do I condone an adult assaulting another adult. When you throw a drink on someone and they react, do not play the victim. She initiated a fight, and a fight is what she got.
As a result, the Teyana Taylor and Toure Designs show was cancelled and we had to move everything. The venue lost it’s hair and make up sponsor of 10 years and the assistant was relieved of his duties this season. Everyone lost. This was an insurmountable mishap, but I will not allow the events to be painted as some mean man beat her up.”

Friends of the reality star tell In Touch the statement was no accident, but intentionally planned.
Up until her Aug. 4 appearance on Jimmy’s show, Kim had avoided talking about the wedding-invite snub at the insistence of Kanye. But now, Kim doesn’t think she has to tiptoe around her rival anymore, the pal tells In Touch. “Kim thinks Beyoncé’s a fake, and that the real Beyoncé is nothing like the one the public knows. Not showing up for the wedding was a total slap in the face,” says the friend. “And now Kim’s not afraid to call her out on it.”
“Kim is done playing nice,” a friend of Kim’s dishes in the new issue of In Touch – on stands now. “Beyoncé humiliated her.” The friend also says Kim, who used to idolize the singer, “will never forgive Beyoncé unless she gets a public apology.”
The hostess at Penthouse Nightclub tells TMZ … Draya was supposed to host an event Sunday. When she arrived she looked at the crowd and said she didn’t want to waste her time with “f**s and d**es” and left.
Draya told us she did NOT make the homophobic comment. She says never even showed up to the club that night … she had called them to say she had to cancel because she was sick. She says the club owner threatened to trash her in the media for being a no show.
The club fires back … Draya accepted a $2.5K deposit, was obligated to show and the club lost money when a disappointed crowd simply left the club. The club now plans on suing her.
Draya tells us … she’ll be happy to entertain her LGBT fans on another night … at a different club.
After once again confirming that he’s been married since 2007, the attention sloring reality star came clean about his nonchalant on-camera admission.
I didn’t want to lie about it. Let’s face it. The woman I’m married to, she’s never gonna come on TV. I could have denied it, and this would only be speculation, but they would have never really known. I chose to tell the truth. I don’t know if that was a good thing or bad thing, for me.
He then said his wife gave him her blessing to do the show because they weren’t “rocking like that” and he didn’t tell MiMi because of “this Stevie s***.”
She [MiMi] didn’t know any of this. I made a decision not to tell her, because there was so much going on with this Stevie s***. I’m looking at it different from the way someone else may be looking at it. I was taking this to my grave. This was some secretive s*** I was doing. I didn’t tell Mimi. And as for the possibility of his spouse one day appearing on the show…
She’s definitely not coming on the show. It ain’t got nothing to do with me convincing me. It’s not her kind of show. And the fact that she’s moved on already with her life. It ain’t like she’s gonna come on to bash me.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Nelly and Shantel just inked a deal with BET for an unnamed reality show project focusing on Nelly and his hip-hop career, fashion empire, business acumen as co-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats and father to his biological and late sister’s children, all while juggling his relationship with Floyd Mayweather’s ex finace’ Shantel Jackson.
An air date has not been set.
For months there have been rumors that NeNe Leakes and Porsha Stewart’s roles on the The Real Housewives of Atlanta would be dramatically scaled back next season.
Now sources claim Claudia Jordan and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne star Demetria McKinney are test shooting with the other ladies as possible replacement wives.
During one of her Twitter chats with fans, the topic of Yung Joc came up, and Karlie wasn’t too shy to express how she feels about the rapper. After re-tweeting countless insults geared toward Joc and Khadiyah, Karlie responded to one commentator who asked Karlie why things with Joc didn’t work out.
“Cuz I knows he’s on the down low he don’t want that to get out,” she responded. The reality star might have realized the severity of her accusations, since she later deleted the tweet, but it didn’t keep her from throwing shade Joc and Khadiyah’s way.
When another fan told Karlie that Yung Joc was doing a little mudslinging of his own, Karlie came back in full-force and told fans Joc needs to reveal his true sexual orientation.
“RT @ChiTown773IL: @KARLIEREDD not snitch joc boy on his page on fb talking s—t > Cuz he sucking his d—k they need to come out the closet,” she tweeted.
Sigh. We actually kind of hoped that Karlie and Joc would give up bad mouthing each other by now — especially since Joc publicly apologized for his bad boy ways — but it appears that a truce is nowhere in sight for these two.
Porsha Williams, star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”, has been named permanent co-host on the entertainment magazine television program, DISH NATION. Based in Atlanta, with the “Rickey Smiley Morning Show”, Porsha brings her distinct perspective on breaking celebrity news and gossip. The announcement was made by Michael Bachmann and Matt Blanock, co-executive producers of DISH NATION.
Michael and Matt stated: “This week, ‘Dish Nation’ celebrates 500 episodes. We are thrilled to have the talented and tenacious Porsha Williams around for the next 500 and beyond.”
Growing +12% in average daily viewers versus same period a year ago (1.52 million vs 1.36), DISH NATION remains syndication’s youngest skewing first-run program.
Porsha stated: “On my very first day in the Atlanta studios of ‘Dish Nation’ I immediately felt a natural chemistry with the team. Rickey Smiley is an amazing comic and I am thrilled to learn and grow with one of the best morning hosts in the country.
We’re told Michael knew Nicole was taking the trip with her GFs, but was not aware anything went on with Jackson.
We’re told Nicole now says she and Michael were “on a break” when she hooked up with Jackson — but she did not feel the relationship was over.
Still … it’s interesting … she’s accusing Michael of cheating but she was clearly playing the field.
Speaking more on the abuse, Benzino claims that Joseline ripped Stevie’s ear and the producer had to get stitches, and Benzino’s father chimes in by saying Joseline pulled a gun on her man. The Boston native says that it’s ironic that someone put out photos claiming that Joseline was abused by Stevie, when Benzino claims it’s actually the other way around.
Zino clarifies that he’s never seen Joseline pull out a gun, but says Stevie recounted the story to him. He adds that what people see on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” is only a small part of what goes on behind the scenes.
Apollo Nida could very well be on a mission to clean up a bunch a mess before he has to turn himself in to the feds and judging from his recent actions during a RHOA taping at Bar One restaurant, that could possibly be the case.
During the evening’s festivities, Apollo reportedly admitted to Kenya that he only told Phaedra that the former beauty queen was pursuing him, in response to Kenya throwing out the fact that he’d texted her. Apparently the texts were innocent, but if you recall, Moore brought them up during the season 5 reunion as if Apollo was trying to pursue her.
During Cynthia's Ebony Mag celebration, Apollo and Kenya filmed a scene on the steps of Bar One (alone), and apparently it was then that Kenya demanded an apology from him about everything that had taken place over the past few seasons. I heard that Kenya also apologized to Apollo about her role in the situation, but I’m almost positive editing will make it all one sided.
Kenya reportedly has told all the ladies that Apollo has admitted he ‘lied’ about her all these years. It remains to be seen EXACTLY what he lied about but whatever the case, there’s footage that I’m almost positive will be used during season 7 of Apollo and Kenya having a heart to heart talk about it all.
His first season on Real Housewives of Atlanta he was seen losing his bar Uptown, but then Peter opened BarOne and announced he not only plans to expand BarOne, but also to open SportsOne in Charlotte, NC with new business partner Kordell Stewart – and to film a spinoff show about the bar business.
Now comes a report that Peter filed for bankruptcy and was borrowing money, again, from wife Cynthia Bailey to keep his business afloat. A report reveals that in 2013, Peter, via BarOne, filed for bankruptcy owing over $322,000k to various creditors including the IRS and his wife! At that time Peter claimed BarOne’s assets were only $61,000k.
According to documents, Bar One filed for Chapter 11, which would expunge their debts. Listed as creditors are $32,000 owed to the IRS, $118,000 to the State of Georgia for taxes, a slew of other debts, and a whopping $60,000 owed to Peter, himself, for personal monies he investing in the business and was using to cover its operating costs.
But here’s the clincher: $40,000 of that money was actually borrowed from Cynthia who invested in the bar. In 2012 Cynthia loaned Peter $60k to open the bar, at one point BarOne repaid her, according to the documents, but then re-borrowed the capital of $40k.
Last summer Peter’s bankruptcy petition claims that in one month the bar earned only $1,500, but expenses were $100,000k. Peter stated that although BarOne was still open and operated, he was not paying bills.
BarOne, “is unable to pay its bills as they come due. Since the petition date, Debtor has accrued $61,817.55 in post-petition payables. Debtor’s post-petition, past-due payables include $17,339.09 owed to the Georgia Department of Revenue for Debtor’s tax obligations.” This was reportedly in September or October of 2013, in response to the trustees request that the Chapter 11 be dismissed.
The explanation continues, “Debtor has no apparent ability to generate sufficient cash flow post-petition, the Court is authorized to find that Debtor is experiencing a continuing loss to. . . the estate within the meaning of 11.”
Peter claims the bar is doing well, although they are having difficulty with their lease as the owner of the building is in foreclosure. Peter claims he is trying to buy the property, but with BarOne’s bankruptcy petition on their credit as recent as last year I can see why that’s not panning out.
And as expected, drama and entertainment intertwines with cast mates: Tameka Raymond, ex-wife of Usher; Christina Johnson, ex-wife of CeeLo Green; Monyetta Shaw, ex-fiancé of Ne-Yo; Sheree Buchanan, ex-wife of Ray Buchanan and Torrei Hart, ex-wife of Kevin Hart.
The spill happened Saturday during a Las Vegas high-rollers competition, according to TMZ.
Kenya and other “Real Housewives” from all the franchises were each paired with four real high rollers in competitions that included a serious of games before an audience at Caesars Palace.
One game was teaching the high rollers how to walk a runway. A confident Kenya sauntered down the aisle but didn’t quite make it to the end before she bit the dust.
But all the while security was doing their best to stop other people from brawling, were they told to let Joseline fly off the handle?????
According to Benzino that answer to that question is YES, and he blasted Mona Scott Young for not only planning the Puerto Rican Princess’ multiple brawls but treating her to dinner afterwards to celebrate!
Apollo sat down with Atlanta radio station B-100 to talk about his bank fraud and identity theft conviction and 8 year prison sentence and was asked if his marriage with Phaedra Parks would make it through the storm.
Apollo didn’t hold back and replied,
“I doubt it. My wife didn’t even f**king show up for my sentencing…so I’m still kinda salty about that or whatever…”
Phaedra Parks reportedly won’t be sticking around for husband Apollo Nida to serve his eight-year prison sentence.
According to In Touch Weekly, the 41-year-old Real Housewives Of Atlanta star ‘wants to leave him’ after he was convicted of federal bank fraud and identity theft and sentenced to almost a decade in the slammer on July 8.
‘If they never started a family, she would have filed for divorce long ago,’ the publication reports an insider as saying. ‘But this is going to push Phaedra to act quickly.’
The entertainment attorney and the 35-year-old personal trainer are parents to two young sons- Ayden, three, and Dylan, 14 months – and despite wanting to keep her family together for the sake of the children, she’s reportedly had enough of her husband’s criminal activities.
Of course, the couple married on November 1, 2009 – only a short time after Apollo was released from jail having spent six years behind bars for car theft.
Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that the troubled reality star, who regularly appeared alongside his wife on the hit series, will have to cough up close to $1.9 million in restitution after being convicted of cashing stolen checks and laundering more than $2.3 million.
Phaedra Parks reportedly did not attend her husband’s sentencing, though his mother and brother were present in the US District Court in Georgia.
TMZ has obtained court docs which breakdown who gets the money Apollo must now pay. Some of the heavy hitters include:

And there’s more. Apollo — who is married to Phaedra Parks from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” — screwed over pretty much everyone with whom he came in contact.
He’ll have plenty of time to think about his misdeeds. Apollo was sentenced to 8 years in federal prison.
