According to Benzino that answer to that question is YES, and he blasted Mona Scott Young for not only planning the Puerto Rican Princess’ multiple brawls but treating her to dinner afterwards to celebrate!
Back in April Mona Scott Young along with Bad Boy Records, Joseline Hernandez, Sony Music Group, VH1 Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Viacom, Universal Music, Raymond ‘Benzino’ Scott, The Kompany and Monami Entertainment were subpoenaed by Project Child Support in an effort to determine Stevie J’s true financial status.
Now Project Child Support is accusing Love and Hip Hop Atlanta producer Mona Scott Young of lying after she claimed in her subpoenaed response that Monami Entertainment has never employed, subcontracted or contracted for the services of Stevie J.
Kai Patterson, Founder of Project Child Support, blasts Mona’s response stating,
“I don’t understand how an Executive Producer of a hit television reality series does not enter into any agreements with the cast or any organizations contracted with the cast of a television production. This is a felony child support evasion case, and helping someone commit a felony crime is a felony crime. We are going cooperate with the federal agencies investigating this case and provide them with copies of all documents we received that are related to this case, including Mona Scott’s court ordered subpoena response.”
The Sorority Sisters trailer highlighted members of the Black Greek Letter Organizations of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho. However, it has since been removed from online streaming services perhaps due to the grumblings of Black Greeks. Still, a MoveOn.org petition was enacted by Reynoir Lewis and addressed to Viacom’s president and CEO Phillipe Dauman and President Barack Obama.

Our founders amongst EVERY organization worked extremely hard to allow us to unite and flourish not only on college campuses, but as a people well beyond our college days, and Mona Scott-Young now threatens to demolish those aims and goals we all abide by.
The petition has an aim of 7, 500 signatures and has already amassed nearly 6,000 thus far. Scott-Young has yet to respond to the fervor around the show nor is their word from Viacom the show has been canned. It is assumed that Sorority Sisters was slated to air on one of Viacom’s media properties.
We’ve combed through the court documents, compliments of Tattle Tailzz, and in short, the lawsuit centers copyright infringement , fraud, and breach of contract, breach of confidence for the idea of “Love & Hip Hop” reality show.
According to court documents, the original show was called ‘Hip Hop Wives‘. Similar to shows like Basketball Wives and the Real Housewives franchises, the show would focus on the women associated with hip hop stars and rappers. The initial cast members included Tashera Simmons (the now ex-wife of DMX), Chrissy Lampkin (fiance of rapper Jim Jones), Mashonda Tifere (the now ex-wife of producer Swizz Beatz) and Debbie Lorenzo (the new ex-wife of Irv Gotti).
The plaintiff claims that Mona, Vh1 and all parties involved in their initial pitch meeting stole their concept and created the Love & Hip Hop franchise, which as we know became an instant success. They claim that before their project was greenlit, Chrissy pulled out of their agreement, joining forces with Mona and Vh1. The lawsuit was filed Monday March 10th, 2014. To date, there has been no official response and while in litigation it’s highly unlikely that anyone involved will make public comment.
