K. Michelle stopped by The Breakfast Club yesterday morning in promotion of her upcoming sophomore album and the new single ‘Love Em All‘. During the interview, she spoke on her former boyfriends, the baby mama drama that happened on the last time when she dated her friend, love for Nicki Minaj, why Lil Kim is annoyed with her, why her fans are petty and more. She also disses Soulja Boy because he implied in an interview that he slept with her.

  

 



The Story Behind Tahiry’s NYFW Altercation

Tuesday, it was reported that a physical altercation took place just before a scheduled NYFW show on Monday night between reality star Tahiry Jose and a man by the name of Carlos Gonzalez who was involved in the show’s production.

Shortly after the story broke, a representative for the PR firm that handled the event reached out to us with a slightly different version of the story, claiming that the extent of Tahiry’s injuries & hospitalization in the original story we recieved were fabricated. Here’s what they had to say:

“Tahiry arrived to the Helen Mills venue around 4pm, as she was going to model for Toure’s show, requesting not to enter where “the normal people” go. Her assistant was instructed that the normal people entrance is the only one available.

Once Tahiry arrived, she requested for all the models to be removed from the hair and makeup area so that her personal team could begin makeup for the show. The show manager’s assistant obliged her request and cleared out a few rows where the models where sitting to allow her private time. Tahiry continued to patronize the assistant using profanity. Her assistant and glam squad joined in on the berating.

The group moved their argument back upstairs and outside of the venue. A minor scuffle was heard but ignored because no yelling accompanied. Then someone yelled, “why are you fighting a woman?” I ran outside to find Tahiry on the ground, a watery substance everywhere, and the show producer’s assistant being jumped by Tahiry’s assistants.

I picked Tahiry up off the ground and her makeup artist attended to her. Her hair stylist was still fighting the assistant while myself and two male models broke up the fight. A witness outside said that once the argument moved outside, Tahiry continued using profanity, sexual orientation slurs and threw her drink in the show assistant’s face.

I moved Tahiry downstairs to a safe place and asked her what happened. Her response: “nothing.” I asked her if she was okay and she said yes. She had no scratches and denied the help of the paramedics, assuming she would go to jail for fighting. She and her staff left the premises and a report was given by our staff to the police.

The story originally given to Bossip reads as if some man started beating Tahiry up while everyone stood by. To my knowledge, she was NOT hospitalized and denied the help or paramedics to me. My issue is that we continue to allow bad behavior to be warranted. Tahiry cussed this young man out and threw a drink in his face and now is playing the victim. Bad behavior evokes bad behavior if people aren’t using rational thought. I find it interesting that Tahiry could ask for a private entrance but could not ask for someone to be removed if she saw them as a threat. I do not condone men hitting women, nor do I condone an adult assaulting another adult. When you throw a drink on someone and they react, do not play the victim. She initiated a fight, and a fight is what she got.

As a result, the Teyana Taylor and Toure Designs show was cancelled and we had to move everything. The venue lost it’s hair and make up sponsor of 10 years and the assistant was relieved of his duties this season. Everyone lost. This was an insurmountable mishap, but I will not allow the events to be painted as some mean man beat her up.”

Remy Ma And Papoose Rumored To Be Joining Love & Hip Hop NYC

I recently reported that rapstress Remy was in fact released from prison after a roadblock for disciplinary action. After posting several candid pictures of her back in the studio with producer DJ Khaled, the NYC rapper is now looking to hop on the small screen as well.

Remy Ma comes home after spending six years in Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in New York. We could not even keep her quiet even from behind bars. She was still allowed to do interviews and spit some bars for her fans. She recently did an interview with Angie Martinez on her new spot on Power 105 and revealed that she will be doing reality TV. She says “They’re making me do it.”

Word on the street is that Remy Ma and her husband Papoose will be on season 5 of VH1′s Love And Hip Hop New York. I don’t know how true this is, but my source claims it’s happening for sure. I mean what better story line to feature than a female rapper who just got out of jail for shooting one her close friend and got married to her Brooklyn rapper boyfriend while behind bars.

We all know Remy is always entertaining so I wouldn’t mind seeing her on there making me laugh. Remy gets out today so we will see if the VH1 cameras are on deck.

Love and Hip Hop New York’s Amina Buddafly famously announced to Peter Gunz and his long time girlfriend/baby mama, Tara Wallace, that she was pregnant with Peter’s baby on the explosive Love and Hip Hop New York reunion show. The bambino has arrived.

Atlantic Records recording artist and Love & Hip-Hop Star K. Michelle recently released her boiling point with her hater peanut gallery and lashed out women who continuously knock her down for not having an organic booty.

 

As the rap songstress continues to tour her Rebellious Soul album across the country, she took a moment during a stop in Montgomery, Ala. to address bird brain groupies who she feels could easily be contestants on Cheaters if she felt the need.

“I post the pictures and watch all the ugly chicks hate,” she began in a iPhone text-turned statement on Instagram. “We get it. You think my ass is fake, you think looking like spongebob is better. In a Twitter Q&A last week, K. Michelle admitted that her outrageously plump, rump was the result of having a surgical operation, telling an inquiring fan to “try working out and fat transfer [that’s what I did].”

Moguldom Films’ newest documentary Bottoms Up explores the thought processes behind women’s increasing interest in increasing the size of their butt figures. Something, K. Michelle is obviously familiar with. However her rise in the spotlight can be attributed to the quality of her music, with her album debuting at #2 on the Billboard 200 at the time of its release.

Yandy Smith Welcomes Fiance Mendeecees Home From Prison, VH1 Films Release (Video)

Love & Hip Hop New York cast member Mendeecees Harris is a free man, for now. The reality TV star was released on $600,000 bond as he awaits trial on drug trafficking charges. Harris’ fiancee and castmate, Yandy Smith, is responsible for $200K of that loot and was in Rochester, NY today (March 31) to agree to the terms.

Yes, it was all caught on camera. Reports Democrat & Chronicle: With VH1 cameras waiting outside of federal court Monday, as Love & Hip Hop NY films for its next season, U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. agreed to release Harris on a $600,000 bond package — half of which was provided in court.

 He was released later from the Yates County Jail, where he has been held. Harris, 35, is accused of a role in a New York City-based drug ring that included his brother, Tyrus Harris, and another man, Ronald Walker. Tyrus Harris pleaded guilty before Geraci Monday, and Walker pleaded guilty last year.

The drug ring transported cocaine to the Rochester region, federal authorities allege. Tyrus Harris faces a sentence of about five to seven years, under federal sentencing recommendations. Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank Sherman and Mendeecees Harris’ lawyer, Donald Thompson, said in court Monday that they’ve been working toward a resolution with the case.

The bail agreement, Sherman said, is expected to be substantial enough to ensure Harris returns for future court dates. Smith, who is engaged to Harris and who is one of the bigger stars of the show, said after court that she has no worries about the $200,000 pledge.

“Mendeecees is a very good guy,” said Smith, who was once on the list of Billboard Magazine’s “Top 30 Executives under 30.” Despite rumors that Harris was already free, he has been in jail since January 2013. Those are hefty charges Harris is facing, which will know doubt only increase chatter that he is cooperating with authorities.

She also has her own shoe line, but is taking on another gig, as Creative Director of Bebe’s footwear collection this fall. Fab’s girl took to Instagram to share the news and pics of her designing at Bebe headquarters.

Is Chi Ali Joining The Cast Of Love & Hip Hop New York?

Chi Ali, member of the Native Tongues crew is the latest name to be dropped in the rumor mill for the new cast of Love & Hip Hop New York.

The rapper rose to fame in the early 90′s at 14-year-old- with the single “Age Ain’t Nothing But A # (Number.)” Chi Ali vanished in the music scene by the late 90′s and recently served a 12-year prison sentence for a first degree manslaughter charge. He is currently working on new music and in talks to release a book.

The rapper has been seen out and about with Peter Gunz leaving people to speculate if he will be on the show next season.

Mona Scott Young Slapped With $50 Million Lawsuit: Copyright Infringement, Fraud & Breach

Another day, another lawsuit. Mona Scott-Young, one of the executive producer’s behind the Love & Hip Hop franchise is being hit with a pretty hefty lawsuit. 8th Wonder Entertainment, Nicki Lum-Davis and Trisha Lum are suing Mona’s production company, Monami, for $50 million dollars. VH1 and Viacom are also named.

 

We’ve combed through the court documents, compliments of Tattle Tailzz, and in short, the lawsuit centers copyright infringement , fraud, and breach of contract, breach of confidence for the idea of “Love & Hip Hop” reality show.

According to court documents, the original show was called ‘Hip Hop Wives‘. Similar to shows like Basketball Wives and the Real Housewives franchises, the show would focus on the women associated with hip hop stars and rappers. The initial cast members included Tashera Simmons (the now ex-wife of DMX), Chrissy Lampkin (fiance of rapper Jim Jones), Mashonda Tifere (the now ex-wife of producer Swizz Beatz) and Debbie Lorenzo (the new ex-wife of Irv Gotti).

The plaintiff claims that Mona, Vh1 and all parties involved in their initial pitch meeting stole their concept and created the Love & Hip Hop franchise, which as we know became an instant success. They claim that before their project was greenlit, Chrissy pulled out of their agreement, joining forces with Mona and Vh1. The lawsuit was filed Monday March 10th, 2014. To date, there has been no official response and while in litigation it’s highly unlikely that anyone involved will make public comment.

GREASY: Is This How “Love & Hip Hop” Star Rich Dollaz Is “Getting Checks”?

Streets are definitely watching but I cant knock the hustle though! Ok enough of the Jay Z references.

Wow! So all this time we thought Love & Hip Hop star Rich Dollaz was supposed to be “gettin checks” from music. We had no idea that he was doing “model searches” at clubs all over the country in which the ladies he is supposedly discovering are all paying $50 a pop to enter his “search”.
 
Hmmm well…if we do the math, we can see that even if he only had a total of 400 girls show up to one of these events..if each of those girls all paid $50 a piece to get discovered by Mr. Dollaz… then he would have made $20,000.00 in one night right there!
 
Then if he repeated this club gathering thing another 4x in a week… he’d have cleared $100,000.00 in a week’s time and didn’t really have to do anything except tell girls that they may have a shot at speaking to him the following week.
 
Oh yeah that’s another part of the gig…apparently these girls are supposed to pay Dollaz’s people $50 without ever even seeing Rich for themselves. They only get to see him if some ” judge panel” says they are worthy to move to the next phase of the program. Then they supposedly come back the next week to talk to Dollaz…and if he likes them…they will win a lot of prizes.

 Apparently the way it works is…Dollaz doesn’t actually show up on the same night that the “model contestants” do. Allegedly, if they are selected to move to the next round the following week…they will get to speak to Rich Dollaz…but only then. 

And even at that point the ladies are still not guaranteed that anything is going to happen or that they are going to be on Love & Hip Hop.

In fact…it’s sort of interesting that it doesn’t say VH1 too much on the flyer…nor does it say Mona Scott Young who is the Executive Producer of the show.
 

Last night it was in Dallas, TX, tonight it’s in Columbus, Ohio and tomorrow night it’s Chicago, IL! Get em! We bet there’s a whole lot of $50 in all of those cities. 

Now that we think about it..we wonder if this is what Charlamagne was talking about when he was discussing how Rich Dollaz does or doesn’t get paid a few weeks ago.
Well anyways, good luck ladies…we have a feeling that in order for you to actually physically get on to the show…you’re going to need it.

Recently, Lee brought fans inside the plastic surgery office of her doctor Dr. Shiam. The video sounds a lot like a guerilla style infomercial for the doctor. Nya Lee says, “I want you guys to see that I’m totally comfortable with everyone knowing that I definitely went through plastic surgery and the best doctor to do it with is Dr. Shiam.”
