Next month, DMV artist, Boogie Byrd, one of the DC area's most sought after rappers will drop the highly anticipated "Simply Art" album under Master Mind Music Entertainment, Inc., soon to be followed by a "Music Over Bullets" tour at HBCU's on the East Coast urging the end of senseless gun violence in our communities. The album features a blend of "mind adventure" music with inspirational and vibrant old school, hip hop and R&B/Rap. "We're trying to change DC rap and just bring back real music" says former Murder Inc. producer/engineer, now President/CEO of Master Mind Music Entertainment, Inc., Lawrence "Sonny" Brooks.
