Drake: “Kendrick Is Not Murdering Me In Any Platform”
In a new interview with Billboard, Drizzy brushes off the Compton MC’s verse and his claims of being the best rapper. “I didn’t really have anything to say about it,” the 26-year-old OVO Sound leader shares. “It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me. That’s all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick’s not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.”
The “murdering” line he’s referring to comes from Lamar’s verse on Big Sean‘s ‘Control,’ where he calls out Drake and a rack of other popular, young rhymers: J Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale / Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Big Sean, Jay Electron, Tyler the Creator & Mac Miller.
His third studio album, "Nothing Was the Same," drops Sept. 24th.

When It Rains It Pours: Lamar Odom Busted For DUI
Reports TMZ:
The bust occurred in the San Fernando Valley at 3:54 AM. Lamar — who was driving a white Mercedes SUV — was popped by the California Highway Patrol and taken to a nearby station, where he was booked and is being held on $15,000 bail.
He was pulled over on the 101 Freeway for going too slow — 50 MPH. Cops say Odom had been driving in a “serpentine manner.”
Lamar initially did not respond to cops, and drove 3 exits before finally coming to a stop. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ he showed obvious signs of intoxication.
Lamar failed numerous field sobriety tests.
When Lamar was booked, we’re told he refused all chemical tests.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … deputies at the scene smelled alcohol on Lamar and believe he was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol. The sources say Lamar’s driving and conduct were consistent with drugs. We’re told there were no drugs or alcohol found in Lamar’s car … only cigarettes, 2 bottles of cologne and other innocuous items.
Lamar’s booking sheet shows he is 6’10″ and 235 lbs.

Racist Big Brother Contestant Finally Voted Out Of Big Brother House
It has been a long time coming but racist & homophobic Big Brother 15 castmember, Aaryn Gries, was finally given the boot & was voted out on last nights episode. I, for one, am not upset at all about her eviction. Just the fact that it took THIS long. Hopefully the next one out is Amanada's crazy ass!

“Be careful what you say in the dark, you might not be able to see that b*tch.”Host Julie Chen was eagerly waiting on her to come out of the house after the 5-0 vote to evict her this evening. Chen asked her about her comments to which Gries quickly tried to say her words were taken out of context. Julie Chen was fast to whip out a card that had them all listed and asked her what she meant by what she said if it was not to be racist or homophobic. Aaryn gave a frightened apology and tried to shrug it off. We don’t think Julie was buying it for a moment and neither was the live audience…some of which who boo’d her as she walked on to the stage.
We don’t know if this girl really learned much in the BB house this summer but we get the feeling that the lessons are definitely going to be learned as soon as she gets home and sees exactly what type of mess she has made of her life. See Ya!

The husband of reality star Khloe Kardashian allegedly has become addicted to the synthetic form of morphine — a drug that is considered twice as strong as the narcotic.
His preferred use of the drug, also known as hillbilly heroin, is to smoke it, according to one source. “Lamar never registered a dirty test over the last two years,” a source close to the NBA told Radar. The insider added, “Lamar was able to smoke OxyContin and it was detected during several drug tests. But because he had a valid prescription, it wasn’t a violation. He knew he could smoke it and get away with it.” RadarOnline broke the story: Kardashian family members fear Odom, 33, has become hooked on both OxyContin and Ambien, a sedative that is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Some reports have suggested that Odom was using crack cocaine. However, the high-level NBA source who spoke to RadarOnline.com stated: “If Lamar had been using crack cocaine, or any other illegal drug, it would have been detected during the league’s drug testing routine.” The NBA subjects all players to four random tests each season (from October 1 to June 30) and two random tests each off-season (from July 1 to September 30). All such tests take place without prior notice to the player. And any failed test for what the league considers “drugs of abuse” — cocaine, speed, heroin, LSD and the like — results in instant disqualification from the league.“If Lamar tested positive for a drug of abuse, he would have immediately been sanctioned and suspended,” the source said.
On Monday, Odom rejected intervention attempts by teammates from the Los Angeles Clippers and his former team the Los Angeles Lakers at a Los Angeles hotel.
The dramatic talks lasted three hours during which Odom appeared to be under the influence of a substance, a source inside the room said. “There was a bit of time it appeared that Lamar was going to admit publicly his addiction and go to rehab, again,” the source told Radar. “But then, he abruptly bolted from the hotel and left the premises.” The scandal engulfing his life is the latest twist in two months of headlines detailing how he allegedly cheated on his reality television star wife with two women.

After teasing folks for a few months, Meek has finally dropped the tracklist and release date for his next mixtape, “Dreamchasers 3”, due out on September 20th. “DC 3″ features Jadakiss, Trina, and Waka Flocka. Lil Scrappy Gets Into Fight At Gas Station & Gets ARRESTED [VIDEO]
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star, Lil Scrappy, is in trouble with the law yet again. The rapper was arrested at a gas station for getting into a fight. Over what? Well, there are conflicting reports.
According to TMZ.com:
Cops received a call about a brawl going down inside the gas station around 2:33 AM. We're told an off-duty police officer from Atlanta happened to be at the same gas station and sprang into action -- successfully breaking up the fight.However, other reports claim: "Allegedly, the argument started over a gambling debt that hadn’t been paid".
When on-duty cops arrived to the scene ... Scrappy and the other man were arrested for disorderly conduct and hauled to a nearby police station.
FYI -- the other guy in the fight was Kenny Rogers ... not "The Gambler" Kenny Rogers ... just a random guy who also happens to share the same name as the country legend.
We're told Scrappy was very cooperative once in custody -- and was released a short time later.
We spoke with Scrappy who insists Kenny Rogers was the aggressor -- "He was calling my girlfriend names and then put his hands on me ... so I had to lay them paws on him."

BREAKING SPORTS NEWS: Texas A&M to suspend Johnny Manziel for first half against Rice
The drama surrounding Johnny Manziel will finally be coming to an end & he will be able to get back to doing what he does best...running circles around defenses. The NCAA reportedly acknowledges that "Johnny Football" DID NOT receive money for signing autographs & reached an agreement with Texas A&M to suspend him for the 1st half of their opening game against Rice this weekend.
SI.com reports:
Texas A&M will suspend Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel for the first half of its season-opener against Rice on Saturday, according to a report from Billy Liucci of TexAgs.com via Twitter.
The quarterback has been under NCAA scrutiny for receiving compensation for autographs, including a six-hour meeting on Saturday in College Station.
ESPN’s Brett McMurphy cites a source as saying the half-game suspension ”closes the book” on the Manziel autograph saga, and that the NCAA acknowledges Manziel did not accept money.
Reports alleged that Manziel exchanged autographs for money on several occasions, including in Miami during January’s BCS championship game week. An autograph dealer told ESPN that Manziel accepted payments in exchange for more than 4,000 signed items at an event in Connecticut in January.
There has been speculation that Texas A&M may consider benching Manziel until the NCAA’s investigation is resolved, but the Aggies had given no indication as to Manziel’s status heading into their season opener. Texas A&M players and coaches have been instructed to not answer questions regarding Manziel’s standing or the NCAA case, according to a statement from A&M athletic director Eric Hyman:
“The focus of our coaches and student-athletes is solely on preparing for Rice this Saturday,” Hyman said in the statement, “and in the best interests of Texas A&M and the 100-plus student-athletes on the team, I have instructed Coach Sumlin, his staff and our student-athletes to refrain from commenting on or answering questions regarding the status of our starting quarterback, Johnny Manziel.”
Texas A&M officials have been supportive of Manziel publicly, including chancellor John Sharp, who last week told College Station’s KBTX that he knows Manziel is innocent. When asked how he knew that to be true, Sharp said, “I just know. I’ve seen things that other folks can’t see. And it didn’t happen. It did not happen.My question is...if it was revealed that he didn't accept money, why is he being suspended? I'm just saying...
ALL CLEAR- Robert Griffin III reportedly starting Week 1
Skins fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief as its pretty much expected that everything's a go for QB Robert Griffin III to start Week 1 of the NFL season.
According to CBSSports.com:
"It's been more or less expected that Robert Griffin III would start Week 1 for the Redskins when they host the Eagles on Monday night. Now it's unofficially official that he'll start.
That's because Adam Schefter of ESPN has reported that Griffin, who said on Tuesday he's "not below 100 percent" in his rehab, will start. Griffin's planned for Week 1 all along and Mike Shanahan's never wavered from his belief that RG3 would start Week 1 either. Schefter does have ins with the Redskins so it's not illogical that the news is coming from up top.
(It probably doesn't hurt that ESPN, who ran an RG3 documentary on Tuesday night, is broadcasting the game which will serve as RG3's season debut and Michael Vick's debut in Chip Kelly's new offense.)
Griffin's expected to undergo a final examination with Dr. James Andrews soon, at which point the good doctor will officially confirm him. Doing that will allow the Redskins to have followed protocol for the entirety of Griffin's rehabilitation and therefore appear to have his best interests in mind.
It's great news that Griffin's going to be under center. Making it back this fast from his 2012 playoff injury is absolutely, well, superhuman.
But over the past few weeks and months it's been abundantly clear that Griffin was always coming back Week 1. Now we just wait for the inevitable to become official."
Lamar Odom Returns Home To Khloe, Reportedly ‘Listening To Reason’
TMZ Reports:
"Odom returned to his L.A. pad Monday after going off the grid for several days. Sources tell us both Lamar and Khloe are inside the home and addressing some serious issues, including Lamar’s out-of-control crack problem.
We’re told there’s still no talk of divorce — and Khloe is determined to help Lamar get his life back on track.
One source tells us Lamar is “open to reason and listening to the people who love him the most” … a drastic change from a week ago, when L.O. rejected an attempted intervention.
We’re told no decision has been made on possible treatment, but Lamar is “receptive.”
L.O. seemed to be in good spirits Monday night when he was spotted out on a gas run near his home. He even stopped to pose for a photo with a young fan seen here:
We know … several of Lamar’s NBA friends have tried to reach out to him, but it seems for the most part, L.O. is keeping to himself."

Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2" is one of the most anticipated R&B albums coming this fall, and it will feature two huge guest collaborators. Jay Z and Drake are expected to appear on two separate songs on the album. Hov will appear on a song entitled "Murder" & Drake is featured on "Cabaret." Production on "The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2" will once again be handled by Timbaland and Texas producer Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon.

Word on the curb is Yeezy is working on a remix to "Black Skinhead" with none other than the unofficial twerk queen, Miley Cyrus.

After tormenting the Twitterverse with her twerking routine at the VMAs, Miley Cyrus went right into the studio with Kanye West to record a remix of his song “Black Skinhead,” Page Six has exclusively learned. Cyrus skipped her own VMA after-party at No. 8 and went into the studio for what her reps described as a late-night, “top- secret” collaboration, which sources said was with none other than West. The “Yeezus” rapper was one of the few artists not spotted out at Jay Z and Diddy’s bash in New York, which went into the early hours of Monday. West was also said to have headed straight to the studio after the MTV event at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. We hear Cyrus will appear with West on a remix of “Black Skinhead,” due to be part of a remix EP that will be released later this year. 50 Cent Launches Big Apple Boxing
Though he’s been somewhat quiet on the music front, 50 Cent continues to make moves & expand his already massive empire. He is set to launch the first in a series of boxing events in his hometown of Queens, N.Y.
Set at the Resorts World Casino in Jamaica, Queens, Fif’s SMS Promotions and DiBella Entertainment (DBE) will host the event, called Big Apple Boxing, which will feature top up-and-coming boxers. “I aim to deliver the most exciting fights possible. ‘Big Apple Boxing’ on September 16 will bring together extraordinary talent. The action will be intense,” said 50 Cent in an official press release.
Fif has also been actively infiltrating other areas of entertainment as well. Earlier this summer, he began work on producing a drama for Starz called "Power".
Nobody ever said Fif didn't know how to hustle.

Over a mid-tempo beat and eerie production, Mario has his eyes on his best friend’s girl, but fears his jones for her will lead to disastrous consequences. In another case of art imitating life, Mario says the song was inspired by a real life situation in which he was dealing with his manager’s ex-girlfriend. “It just talks about the distractions and temptations and the infatuation that can have on a man when it comes to a woman,” he says. Lamar Odom Surfaces Back Home & Looking Thin (Pics)
The stress from marriage & the end of an NBA playing career is wearing thin on ex baller, Lamar Odom, literally!
According to TMZ,"Lamar’s face looked gaunt when he was spotted Monday afternoon driving his SUV around the San Fernando Valley … not far from his home with Khloe Kardashian. As TMZ first reported …Khloe kicked Odom out of the house last Wednesday when he rejected her attempt to stage an intervention — hoping to convince him to get treatment for his addiction to crack cocaine. But 2 interesting signs from Lamar’s outing Monday — he was still wearing his wedding ring … and he was spotted driving into the gated community where he and Khloe live. As we already told you … Khloe’s not giving up, and has had at least one meeting with LO within the last 48 hours".
This aint no joke so keep brother Odom in your prayers as he battles his addiction!

THIS JUST IN: Waka Flocka Joins Love And Hip Hop Atlanta
Just when you thought LHHATL couldn't get any more hood, Waka Flocka Flame will be the latest addition to the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cast. According to Straight From the A,Waka Flocka & his girlfriend Tammy Rivera will be the new power couple on the show that's sure to bring a RACK of drama to the mix. Apparently, his involvement with the show has been a long time in the making.
The website claims, "It was rumored that Waka was on the list of LHHATL candidates for Season 1, but Tammy was hesitant about joining the cast, so he respected her decision not to proceed at that time." Tammy is an aspiring singer. Waka's mom/manager, Deb Antney has signed on for the 3rd season of LHHATL. She's no stranger to the show, making several appearences on the show providing Rasheeda with some much needed counsel during her ordeal with husband, Kirk. Waka & Tammy should fit right in & raise the bar of RATCHETNESS to a whole new level!
