August Alsina Released From Hospital After Three-Day Coma (Tweet)

August Alsina has been discharged from the hospital. The singer announced the good news on Twitter Tuesday evening. August fainted during his performance in New York last week and was in a coma for reportedly three days.

Reports claimed that the singer was suffering from severe dehydration.August tweeted, “Healthy enough to b Discharged from the hospital today… Scariest time of my life.. but im a soulja & so is God.Thankyou for your prayers.”

Many of his celebrity friends wished him well including Sevyn Streeter, Tyrese, Kevin Hart and Nicki Minaj, who spent some time with the singer in the hospital.

The Latest On August Alsina’s Condition Revealed

R&B singer August Alsina is reportedly still receiving medical attention after being hospitalized following an on-stage collapse in New York City. According to the latest reports, Alsina is being treated for seizures.

A rep for the singer tells TMZ … August is in the ICU of a New York City hospital and receiving treatment for the seizures. We broke the story when he fainted and fell off a stage last night. The rep says doctors did not find any drugs — other than marijuana — in Alsina’s system … and at this point they believe the fainting was brought on by exhaustion and dehydration. (TMZ)

This footage of Alsina’s collapse is hard to watch. Alsina’s collapse went down at a Manhattan concert venue a couple nights ago.

Users were saying that after he fainted, he was taken off in an ambulance. He was performing in New York City at during Testimony Live tour at Irving Plaza. (The Epoch Times)

Who knew that there was a beef brewing between R&B crooner Trey Songz and newbie, August Alsina. In an interview with Rap-Up, the New Orleans singer spoke candidly about not being in a good space with Trigga Trey. Apparently after the two joined forces on August’s ‘I Luv This Sh*t’, they fell out.

 

He shares:
I don’t really fuck with Trey right now. We don’t get along right now. We ain’t on the same page. He did some other shit and we just don’t rock. 

As to what led to their ‘beef’, August points to egos and attitudes. He continues:
Like I tell people all the time, show me that you’re this person on day one… You should always be that person. We were supposed to have a show together and it just went left ’cause I can’t deal with ni**as’ egos and attitudes ’cause I’m just a real ni**a comin’ through and I’m rockin’. Once ni**as go to talkin’ a certain type of way, that sh*t ain’t gon’ fly with me and that’s all that was and I just had to not do the show ’cause I can’t stand on side of a ni**a if I really got something that I feel in my heart. It just ain’t gon’ work, so I just had to dip and we didn’t do it, but it is what it is.
