Nicki Minaj Grinds Her Massive Cakes On Drake In New Video (Pics)

YMCMB label mates Nicki Minaj and Drake have long teased their fans with implications of their being a little more to their on-going flirtation than meets the eye and thicky Nicki is definitely fueling the fire in the video for her latest single “Anaconda.”

In recently released stills from the video for” Anaconda,” which is the lead single off of her upcoming The Pink Print album due out later this year, Nicki is outfitted in fishnets, tights and a bust-bearing bra top while giving Drake the lap dance of a lifetime.

NBA Sick Of Drake? Promises To Reward Raptors If They Fire Drizzy

Young Money’s Drake reportedly has a target on his head from the National Basketball Association (NBA) following costly comments he made earlier this year to lure over superstar Kevin Durant to his Toronto Raptors. According to reports, the NBA is willing to drop the $25,000 fine if the Raptors remove Drizzy as its team ambassador.

Cathal Kelly of the Toronto Globe and Mail dissected the whole odd situation and noted that at one point, “the NBA offered to drop the tampering fine if the team agreed to strip Drake of his title. The Raptors apparently refused.” Obviously, Drake’s presence is worth more than $25,000, but why would the NBA draw the line here, especially since everyone is going to “tamper” with Durant over the next couple of years? (Washington Post)
Yesterday reports claimed his comments at his OVO Fest last week ended up becoming costly for the Raps.

Toronto Raptors global ambassador and semi-famous musician of note Drake thought he could escape the NBA’s tentacles by recruiting concert attendee Kevin Durant to Toronto in the safe confines of thousands of fans at OVO Fest in Toronto. He was sorely mistaken. “Hearing Raptors fined $25,000 for comments Drake made at a concert about Kevin Durant that were seen as violation of anti-tampering rules” (SB Nation)
Footage of Drizzy making his plea for KD to join his Raptors in the future went viral last week.

“Before we leave, I just want to show one of my brothers something,” Drake announced to the crowd. “You know, my brother Kevin Durant was kind enough to come to the show tonight and watch us. I just want him to see what would happen if he came to play in Toronto. Let him know what would happen.” The Oklahoma City Thunder star and reigning NBA MVP then received an ovation from the crowd, which reportedly launched into a “KD” chant. (ESPN)

NBA Fines Drake;Toronto Raptors $25K For Pitching Kevin Durant To Play For Raptors (Video)

2014 OVO Fest - Toronto, ON

According to sources, the Toronto Raptors have been fined $25,000 thanks to comments made by Drake. The charge comes a week after his annual OVO Fest in Toronto. After performing “0 to 100″, Drizzy made a pitch to Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant, who was in attendance. In 2016, Durant becomes an unrestricted free agent. Unfortunately, as Global Ambassador to the Raptors, Drake violated the league’s anti-tampering rules.

Drake’s Paying Well Over $100K In Lyrics-Jacking Dispute: “It’s Way More Than That Sh*t”

Less than 24 hours after reports about Drake and Cash Money Records paying $100,000 over borrowed lyrics, hip-hop artist Rappin’ 4-Tay’s manager has cleared the air.

According to manager Herman Watson, the YMCMB team coughed up plenty more than an easy $100K.

“The real number is sky-high” Watson says. “That [$100,000] they reported is a low-a** number. TMZ made it seem like It was a one time thing to shut him up. There’s also royalties involved, and continuous payment. This is forever. This is a part of his ‘Playaz Club’ package from here on.” (HHDX)

Watson also admitted he has close ties to the Cash Money Records head honchos.
“In all actuality, Baby and Slim, the Williams Brothers, those are my folks,” 4-Tay said during an exclusive interview with HipHopDX. “They’re family and it’s family over everything with them. I’m speaking for myself as well as Cash Money Records when I say live and let live.” … “We had a lot of the fans on the Internet saying, ‘Why did you settle for that?’” Watson says. “We don’t want that misunderstanding. We’re not gonna disclose the numbers, but it’s way more than that shit that was reported.” (HHDX)

Drake Forced To Pay Rappin’ 4-Tay $100K For ‘Borrowing’ Lyrics On ‘Who Do You Love’

Drake just paid a ton of respect to Rappin’ 4-Tay — in the form of cold, hard cash — to settle a beef in which 4-Tay claimed Drizzy jacked his rhymes.

4-Tay first put Drake on blast when YG’s hit “Who Do You Love” came out. Drake drops lyrics on the song that are clearly ripped straight from 4-Tay’s 1994 hit “Playaz Club.”

4-Tay was offended Drake didn’t give him credit on the song. No lawsuit was ever filed, but sources close to the situation tell us a very lucrative agreement was reached.
4-Tay’s manager tells TMZ … Drake’s record label agreed to pay 4-Tay $100,000 for “borrowing” the lines.
Not shockingly … 4-Tay tells us he’s no longer offended.

Drake Lands Job Hosting Espys

“SNL” paid off big time for Drake … because his hosting work on the show earlier this season helped him lock up the job to host the ESPYS this year.

Sources connected to the situation tell us … Drake was extremely passionate about hosting the awards show — and during talks with producers, he pointed to his widely praised performance on “Saturday Night Live” as proof he could get the job done well.

Sources connected to the situation tell us … Drake was extremely passionate about hosting the awards show — and during talks with producers, he pointed to his widely praised performance on “Saturday Night Live” as proof he could get the job done well.
Drake also made sure producers knew about two other highly regarded hosting jobs he had in the past — including the 2011 Juno Awards in Canada.

Ultimately, producers saw things Drake’s way and offered him the job — and we’re told Drake is fired up and taking it very seriously.

In fact, we’re told he’s already rehearsing for the July event — and plans to spend several days every week preparing for the show.

New Music: Drake “Days In The East” (Drizzy Talks Taking Rihanna Back From Chris Brown)

Over on the Eastside, is where you can find Mr. Graham. Following his “Draft Day“, Drake wants that old thing back on his new track.

Last night, Drake released his second new jawn in as many days, this one entitled “Days In The East”. Not sure exactly why he chose such an obscure title for the track, but maybe “East” is a euphemism for Rihanna’s box? In any event, the song is sure to raise a few eyebrows as it focuses mainly on rekindling a past relationship and holding a nice SHADY umbrella over her former light-skinned lover with lines like:

"Couple other things I’d rather do than talk about that right now, told you bout givin’ him chances, on chances, on chances, he’s not holding you down, he’s holding you back right now".

It doesn’t stop there though, Drake also mentions some advice he got from Erykah Badu, take a listen below.

Jay Z Addresses Drake On Jay Electronica’s “We Made It”

Jay Z addresses Drake’s recent comments regarding his references to art on Jay Electronica’s “We Made It.” “Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk,” Jay Z raps on the track.

“Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk,” Jay Z raps on the track. “Silly me, rappin’ ’bout shit that I really bought / While these rappers rap about guns that they ain’t shot / And a bunch of other silly shit that they ain’t got.”

Jay Z’s “Drizzy” reference likely stems from Drake’s Rolling Stone interview in February. In the article, Drake criticizes Jay Z’s references to art.

“It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references,” Drake says in the article. “I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.”

Prior to that, Drake was believed to make a reference to Jay Z and Kanye West on “I’m On One.”

“I’m just feelin’ like the throne is for the taking” Drake raps on the track. “Watch me take it.”

In its article, Rolling Stone notes that Drake’s line is likely a reference to Watch the Throne, a collaborative album made by Jay Z and Kanye West. In the article, Drake admits that he wasn’t in good graces with West and Jay at one point. “It was a lack of communication paired with natural competitiveness,” Drake says in the piece. “But those two are gods to me.”

The article also included criticism of Kanye West’s Yeezus album. “There were some real questionable bars on there,” Drake says in the article. “Like that Swag-hili line? Come on man, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that.”

After the Rolling Stone article was published, Drake said that he never criticized Yeezus and vowed to not do anymore interviews.

Jay Z’s verse on Jay Electronica’s “We Made It” follows Drake’s appearance with Soulja Boy on “We Made It Freestyle.” Both selections share the same beat.

Here's the track

Chris Brown & Drake Battling It Out For Rihanna…Again?

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna is proving she’s worthy of some serious attention as reports claim one-time music rivals Chris Brown and Drake both have their eyes set on their former girlfriend.

According to reports, Chris Breezy has started to rekindle the flame with RiRi. R&B star Brown — who just completed a 90-day stint in anger management rehab — has been texting the “Diamonds” singer, and friends say they’re “freaking out” that Rihanna could rekindle a romance with Brown. At the same time, the sexy singer performed and partied with Drake in Paris, sparking rumors of a relationship. “Chris started texting Rihanna on her birthday [Feb. 20], and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since,” said a source close to the singers. (New York Post)
Reports claim RiRi eventually responded to Chris Breezy’s texts and has kept in contact.
“Rihanna didn’t write back right away .?.?. but later that night she started getting sentimental and texted back, ‘thank you,’ and asked how he was,” our source added. “Since then, the two haven’t stopped texting each other and friends are freaked out that she’s going to start dating him again.” Brown infamously assaulted Rihanna in 2009, but the pair reportedly engaged in an on-again-off-again relationship when a restraining order against Brown expired in 2011. (New York Post)

Earlier this week, Drake hooked up with the R&B vixen during one of his Paris concerts.
Drake and Rihanna brought some sizzle to the stage when his “Would You Like a Tour?” rolled through Paris on Tuesday. The crowd went wild when the Barbados babe joined Drizzy onstage at Paris-Bercy for the first live performance of “Take Care.” They showed off their chemistry during the intimate set, cozying up to each other. RiRi also performed her strip club anthem “Pour It Up,” while Drake danced alongside her. “RIH,” wrote Drake. (Rap-Up)

A few days prior, Drizzy and RiRi were spotted hanging out together.
Rihanna is one lucky lady! The singer showed up to L’Avenue, one of Paris’ most famous celebrity hotspots, on Feb.23 to have dinner with her on-and-off again boyfriend, Drake. It looks like Rihanna, 26, and Drake, 27, are still going strong! The singers met up for the second time this month, and just in time to celebrate Rihanna’s 26th birthday, which she celebrated just a few days earlier. (Hollywood Life)

Drake On Macklemore’s Grammy Win

Although Kendrick Lamar was unfazed by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Best Rap Album Grammy win, Drake, who was also nominated, was more perturbed. He told Rolling Stone that he felt Mack’s public apology was gratuitous and that the other nominees deserved texts as well.

I was like, ‘You won. Why are you posting your text message? Just chill. Take your W, and if you feel you didn’t deserve it, go get better — make better music. It felt cheap. It didn’t feel genuine.

Why do that? Why feel guilt? You think those guys would pay homage to you if they won?

This is how the world works: He made a brand of music that appealed to more people than me, Hov, Kanye and Kendrick. Whether people wanna say it’s racial, or whether it’s just the fact that he tapped into something we can’t tap into. That’s just how the cards fall. Own your shit.

To name just Kendrick? That shit made me feel funny. No, in that case, you robbed everybody. We all need text messages!”

Jhene Aiko Ends The Drake Pregnancy Rumors Once & For All

Jhene Aiko has decided to put an immediate end to rumors and gossip which claim she may be pregnant with frequent collaborator and Young Money star Drake’s child.

Aiko resorted to her Twitter page and informed the world she is not expecting kids anytime soon.

“i’m not pregnant , kids . Now run along and enjoy your Friday ! and as my 4th grade teacher use to say …. ” go forth and be a blessing “,” she wrote February 7. (Jhene Aiko’s Twitter)

Earlier this month, rumors about Drizzy and Aiko’s relationship going beyond the studio heated up the Internet.
According to reports, Canadian rapper Drake and his “From Time” collaborator Jhene Aiko are expecting a child together. The story was first reported by MediaTakeOut who has been known to get a story or nine wrong from day to day. The website claims that the two hooked up on tour and Jhene is two months pregnant with the star’s child. (Hip Hollywood)

Outside of Aiko, Drizzy made headlines over the weekend after hooking up with one-time girlfriend Rihanna on Saturday (February 8).

Drake and Rihanna had the rumor mill buzzing once again when they were spotted partying at the same nightclub on Friday night. The Canadian rapper and Barbadian beauty stepped out to Hooray Henry’s in West Hollywood, fueling reports of a reignited romance. Drizzy rocked black Timberlands and a red vintage Iceberg shirt from the Bart Simpson Collection (Oh yes, he did). Clad in all black, RiRi was joined by her BFF Melissa Forde. (Rap-Up)
